Smackdown – April 10, 2009
World Wrestling Entertainment presented WWE Smackdown edition at University of Texas on April 10, 2009 for wrestling fans. This is first WWE Smackdown edition after WretleMania XXV. Jim Ross and Todd Grisham are official commentators for this wrestling event.
Matt hardy music hits and WWE Smackdown ring announcer Todd Grisham invited Matt hardy to this wrestling edition. Matt hardy talked about his WrestleMania moments. Most of people called The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels’s match as greatest match of all time but their opinion is wrong because his wrestling match with Jeff hardy is the greatest match of WrestleMania XXV. Matt hardy said, i proved myself as superior hardy. Matt Hardy is not satisfied with beating. Matt Hardy does not like Jeff hardy’s popularity even wrestling fans chant his name. Similarly, toughing Jeff hardy’s hand considered as most moment in wrestling fans’ lives. Matt hardy’s main objective to erase Jeff Hardy from WWE.
Matt Hardy wants to continue his career in WWE and he does want to quit. Matt Hardy suggested Jeff hardy to give apology to disappointed wrestling fans. Matt hardy also asked an apology from Jeff hardy. Matt hardy called Jeff hardy. Wrestling fans chanted Jeff hardy. Jeff Hardy music hits and appeared in this wrestling edition. Jeff Hardy entered into wrestling ring and tried to catch Matt Hardy but Matt Hardy escaped from Jeff hardy. In few moments, WWE General Manager Theodore Long music hits and appeared in this wrestling edition. Theodore Long announced himself as WWE General Manager and back in charge. Theodore Long announced a stretcher match. Matt hardy shocked.
WWE interviewer Eve Torres invited Kofi Kingston as her guest. Eve Torres asked Kofi Kingston’s feelings about his previous match before going to face The Big Show. Kofi Kingston was so excited for his participating in Money In The Bank ladder match. Kofi Kingston considered Money In The Bank is so dangerous match but he enjoyed. Similarly, he is going to face over 7 feet and over 500 pounds danger to shock the world. Kofi Kingston strongly wants to beat The Big Show. Eve Torres said good luck to Kofi Kingston.

Cutting Edge
Rated R Superstar Edge appeared in this event and invited WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena as his guest. Wrestling fans insulted Rated R Superstar Edge. Edge considered WrestleMania XXV is greatest moment in his life. Edge said, WWE World Heavyweight Championship title belt was stolen and invited his special guest WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena. In few moments, John Cena appeared in this wrestling edition. Wrestling fans gave good response to John Cena but Edge is not happy. Edge invited John Cena to sit on chair. John Cena said, the champ is here. Edge once again invited John Cena to sit on seat. John Cena sat on chair.
Edge talked about wrestling fans’ response. John Cena felt very happy but Edge does not care about them. Edge actually came here to talk to John Cena. Edge said to John Cena, WWE World Heavyweight Championship title belt is my life. My heart is beaten. Edge can handle any problem as a WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Edge said, John you stole that title belt. Edge ordered John Cena to sit on chair. John Cena can’t understand his problem. John Cena remembered the fact, you lost at WrestleMania. Edge said, John Cena rules his life. John Cena talked about his wrestling matches and his experiences.
John Cena praised wrestling fans. John Cena said, edge has the opportunity to talk to a WWE World heavyweight champion. John Cena does not want to waste his time. Edge said, i hate you thrice. Edge hates John Cena’s hat, T Shirt, shoes, music and everything. Edge decided to put an end to their war in Last Man Standing Match at Backlash 2009. John Cena does not want to loose title. John Cena explained Last Man Standing. John Cena said, i am tougher than you. That is why Edge hates me. Edge mainly worried about me. John Cena forced Edge to put an end in this event. Edge also took off his T Shirt. Edge did not utilize this opportunity and simply left the ring. Wrestling fans insulted Edge. Edge and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena returned to backstage.

After this wrestling match, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase destroyed WWE Unified tag team champion Carlito and Primo. Later, Randy Orton appeared in this wrestling edition. Randy Orton kicked Primo and Carlito. Later, Randy Orton raised hands of Carlito and Primo.
Randy Orton talked about six man tag team match to determine WWE Champion at Backlash 2009. Randy Orton said, at one side Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton and the other side Triple H, Shane McMahon and Batista. As per Randy Orton, Batista surprised by returned to Raw. Randy Orton said, anyone of my team pins their team and i become new WWE Champion. Randy Orton talked about Triple H’s team. They are ego wrestling superstars team. They may either count out or disqualify due to their egos. So, he becomes new WWE Champion at Backlash 2009. Randy Orton returned to backstage happily.
