Smackdown – August 28, 2009
World Wrestling Entertainment presented WWE Smackdown weekly edition at Phoenix, Arizona on August 28, 2009. Jim Ross and Todd Grisham are official commentators for this wrestling edition. Justin Roberts is official ring announcer for this weekly event.
Justin Roberts introduced WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk to this wrestling edition. In few moments, new WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk appeared in this wrestling event but did not receive much response from wrestling fans. CM Punk took microphone and entered into wrestling ring. CM punk said to wrestling fans, i told you so. In other words, he already told that he beat Jeff hardy at SummerSlam 2009 for WWE World Heavyweight Championship. World Wrestling Entertainment showed highlights of Tables Ladders Chairs match. CM Punk enjoyed the preview. CM Punk said to wrestling fans, i am positive but remaining people search shortcuts. According to the CM Punk’s statement, he enjoyed every moment of that wrestling match. Wrestling fans chanted Jeff hardy’s name. Jeff Hardy and fans do not have mental strength just like CM Punk. Remaining people take medication to cure problems but he is not like that.
CM Punk said, he celebrated his victory with wrestling fans but someone disturbed his celebration. He is noun other than The Undertaker. World Wrestling Entertainment showed The Undertaker’s interruption. However, World Wrestling Entertainment forced him to compete Jeff Hardy in a Steel Cage match. CM Punk said, that’s unfair. The Undertaker said, the steel cage at top of head. Wrestling fans can underestimate him but he is ready to face Jeff Hardy. CM Punk said to wrestling fans, he is the role model because he does not drink, smoke and take medication. So, he is better than all of people as per CM Punk’s statement. Tonight CM Punk is going to prove once to all. In few moments, Jeff Hardy music hits and appeared in this wrestling event. Wrestling fans gave amazing response to his presence. Jeff Hardy is not physically fit as per his walking. Jeff Hardy interacted with wrestling fans and entered into wrestling ring.
Jeff hardy looked at his WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt at CM Punk. Wrestling fans chanted Jeff Hardy’s name. CM punk fells prove by showing his WWE World heavyweight Championship title belt to Jeff Hardy and wrestling fans. Jeff hardy said to CM punk, i think you enjoy victory but your enjoyment will end tonight. Jeff hardy said, as per CM Punk’s statement in English language he knew No but Jeff hardy knows Steel Cage match. CM Punk understood the situation of Jeff hardy and insulted him. CM punk said, you are using pain killers to cure his physical problems. So, Jeff hardy does not have relality but he has as per CM Punk’s statement. CM Punk does not like wrestling fans because they are insulting him every week. Even kids also like Jeff Hardy as per CM Punk’s emotional statement. According to the CM Punk’s statement, one of them do not stand here. Jeff hardy looked into his eyes. CM punk challenged him to put an end to their story, looser should threw from World Wrestling Entertainment.
CM Punk promised WWE Universe, wrestling fans have to listen him if he looses his match to Jeff hardy. Jeff hardy said, i like that. CM punk also said to Jeff hardy and wrestling fans, he is going to open eyes of wrestling fans by going to defeat him. Similarly, Jeff hardy has to accept he is better Jeff hardy in front of wrestling world. Wrestling fans chanted Jeff Hardy’s name. Jeff hardy said, i don’t know becuse that’s risky and crazy but accept his challenge. In few moments, WWE Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long music hits and appeared in this wrestling edition. Theodore Long officially announced the looser no longer be in WWE. However, winner of this wrestling match has to put his WWE title on the line at Breaking Point 2009. Winner of this wrestling match with face The Undertaker in a submission match. Theodore Long returned to backstage after this announcement. World Wrestling Entertainment showed Arizona Cardinals.

After this wrestling match, World Wrestling Entertainment showed conversation of Maria and Melina. Maria accepts Dolph Ziggler’s failure and support him by talking to Melina. Maria blamed Melina for her jealous. Melina understood situation and said sorry to Maria. In few moments, Dolph Ziggler came and resolved her doubt. Maria said sorry to Dolph Ziggler. Dolph Ziggler kissed Maria to express his love.

After this wrestling match, Smackdown ring announcer Justin Roberts introduced WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool to wrestling world. WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool is not physically fit. Michelle McCool appeared at announce table. Michelle McCool said to wrestling fans, everybody wants to see me in action but i can’t compete in this wrestling edition because Melina attacked last with no good reason. Actually, Michelle McCool’s knee is seriously damaged and she is not medically cleared due to her knee injury. Michelle McCool considered it as Melina’s fault. However, Michelle McCool understood her emotion last week and supported her. Similarly, Michelle McCool encouraged wrestling fans to trust her. Michelle McCool introduced Melina’s opponent Layla.

After this wrestling match, The Great Khali and his manager Ranjin Singh appeared in this wrestling event. The Great Khali entered into wrestling ring and threw him to outside of the wrestling ring where Ranjin Singh injured Kane with Singapore can. Kane seriously considered and decided to chockslam Ranjin Singh but The Great Khali destroyed Kane with four powerful stick shots. Kane, The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh went to backstage. However, #1 contender of the WWE Intercontinental Championship Dolph Ziggler destroyed WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio with Zig Zag.

WWE Unified tag team champions Chris Jericho and Big Show appeared in this wrestling event and entered into wrestling ring. Chris Jericho took microphone and said to wrestling fans, you are looking at most dominant tag team. Chris Jericho said, Montel Vontavious Porter and Mark Henry won that wrestling match by cheating them with the Floyd Money Mayweather‘s indirect help at Raw edition on August 24, 2009. So they do not have chance to face them for tag titles at Breaking Point 2009. However, we can defeat anyone just like we did at SummerSlam 2009 against Cryme Tyme. Chris Jericho praised their greatness and Big Show said, Unified tag team Champions.

After this wrestling match, World Wrestling Entertainment showed preparation of Jeff hardy for his match in his make up room. In few moments, Matt Hardy came said, good luck to Jeff hardy by hugging his brother. Matt Hardy said to his brother, i respect you. Matt Hardy encouraged his brother Jeff Hardy to defeat WWE World heavyweight champion CM Punk in steel cage match.

After this wrestling match, Jeff hardy said good to each and every wrestling fan to leave World Wrestling Entertainment. Wrestling fans are cried and stood on their feet to say Thank You Jeff … Thank You Jeff … However, WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk attacked Jeff hardy from behind with WWE World Heavyweight Championship title belt.
