Smackdown - January 27, 2012

WWE Smackdown is a second longest running weekly Friday night entertaining wrestling edition of World Wrestling Entertainment. World Wrestling Entertainment presented 649 Smackdown edition at Tucson Arena at Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, Arizona on January 24, 2012 but taped for January 24, 2012 Friday night Smackdown television program. Storyline of this Friday night Smackdown event is developed as per January 20, 2012 Smackdown event as well as previous annual wrestling pay per view Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2012. Similarly, it develops storyline for next professional annual wrestling pay per view WWE Royal Rumble 2012. Josh Mathews, Booker T and Michael Cole were official commentators and Lilian Garcia was official ring announcer of this wrestling main event.

The Big Show attended to this Friday night Smackdown wrestling event and received outstanding ovation from wrestling fans. The world’s largest athlete felt very happy after seeing the support from WWE universe, interacted with them and Lilian Garcia emboldened people to welcome Giant. People welcome him with bigger voice.

Big Show apologies to WWE Universe for what he did to AJ accidentally

The Big Show doesn’t know what to say but said sorry. He was apologized to AJ by sitting beside to her at hospital. She was immediately forgave him immediately as per his statement. People understood his sincerely and stood for him. However, the giant is unable to forgive himself. He stated his collision with AJ was an accident. He decided to be a freak when he was come to WWE but considered it was not his fault. After that Giant found WWE as his home. He said I love what I do and reminded his 13 years successful satisfactory job. After what happens to AJ, Big Show said it is hard to continue career. However, he considered triple threat steel cage match as honour for him at Royal Rumble but his emotion was interrupted by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan came out but WWE Universe booed him. However, Bryan only looks at Big Show and entered into ring.

Daniel Bryan confronts Big Show

WWE World Heavyweight Champion said, Big Show sorry AJ and it makes everything ok. Big Show tried to explain his emotional pain but Bryan did not allow him and ordered him to listen to him. The Submission Specialist said Big Show hospitalized his 98lbs girlfriend. Big Show replied it was an accident. Bryan heard Big Show apologised to AJ and AJ accepted it. Daniel said, at that time AJ was heavily medicated. She even doesn’t know Big Show visited hospital. However, D-Bryan remembers everything. He said WWE is only for athlete not for freaks and said he is not Andre the Giant but WWE universe supported to Big Show.

As per WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the world’s largest athlete made all fool, doesn’t have any plan for his future and says empty apologies. If Big Show apologizes for what he did to AJ, he should not apologize to AJ, Bryan and WWE Universe but he should end his career by retiring from pro wrestling. As per Champion, Giant is come out not apologize to AJ, not to apologize to D-Bryan and not to apologize to WWE Universe. He demanded Big Show to retire from pro wrestling. For whatever reasons he revealed, Big Show should retire immediately from pro wrestling to do honourable thing. In few moments, WWE World Heavyweight Champion slapped Big Show. Bryan said Big Show is not man but monster but slapped him again.

The world’s largest athlete seriously considered, pushed him towards a corner by holding his neck but Giant said what happens to AJ was an accident and also said what happens this Sunday is real. After that he threw WWE World Heavyweight Champion aside.

Mark Henry confronts Big Show and Daniel Bryan

In few moments, the world’s strongest man Mark Henry came out. Big Show was seriously looked at Mark Henry. He actually came out to remind both superstars that their match will be triple threat match. Henry doesn’t care Big Show’s feeling and also doesn’t care Bryan’s poor complaints. Similarly, he doesn’t want to worry about 98lbs girl. As per his opinion, Big Show knew how capable Henry is. After that Mark called Bryan to talk to him. The world’s strongest man talked about his last week match with Bryan, dropped microphone to attack him bit Bryan said it was not his fault but their match was ended because of lumberjacks.

Theodore Long settles problem between Mark Henry, Big Show and Daniel Bryan

In few moments, the General manager of Smackdown Theodore Long came out, ordered them to wait for a second, talked about Royal Rumble pay per view, announced a wrestling match between Wade Barrett and Randy Orton. Theodore Long reminded Daniel Bryan faced Big Show two weeks ago, Daniel Bryan was also faced Mark Henry last week. Therefore, Teddy Long decided to arrange a match between Big Show and Mark Henry.

Daniel Bryan left that ring but Big Show seriously looked at Mark Henry. However, Daniel Bryan looked at them with smiling face. The both giants argued each other.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes attended to this Friday night Smackdown edition. Lilian Garcia announced a wrestling match, introduced WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes and World Wrestling Entertainment showed Cody Rhodes’ pre-recorded video clipping on screen. Cody Rhodes offers a non-title match. After beating Justin Gabriel, Gabriel will tell kids i.e he lost a man who main evented at WrestleMania. In ring, Cody Rhodes raised title over his head. In few moments, Justin Gabriel came out to face Cody Rhodes in a match.

• Cody Rhodes Vs Justin Gabriel

WWE intercontinental Champion kicked at abdominal area to start this match but received a spinning heel kick to face. However, the dashing one performed Alabama Slam on Justin Gabriel, later kicked to face, repeated kicks to chest, knee kick to midsection, side suplex, then punched on right eye, applied shoulder lock but Justin Gabriel kicked at stomach and then performed monkey flip. The Capetown Werewolf connected a roundhouse kick to leg, another roundhouse kick to chest and spinning heel kick to face. After that The daredevil performed flying punch to face, surprised with spinning plancha, pushed him into ring, performed springboard crossbody, after that STO to Intercontinental Champion but Cody Rhodes escaped from springboard moonsault, connected Beautiful Disaster to face, then performed cross Rhodes and pinned Justin Gabriel successfully.

WWE wrestling fans appreciated him for his victory. Cody Rhodes collected his title belt from match referee and involved in celebrating his victory with wrestling fans. Lilian Garcia promulgated WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes as winner of this match.

Santino Marella & Yoshi Tatsu eats Theodore Long’s Brain

The assistant to GM Santino Marella explains his plans including steel cage match but GM did not like it. However, Santino Marella decided to advice a perfect match and whoever loses the match will goes to space through space ship. Theodore Long could not understand what Santino Marella is really talking about. Marella would like to know Yoshi Tatsu opinion and Yoshi Tatsu signalled to do it immediately. Marella said they both will be future WWE tag team champions. He even revealed their team name i.e SantYoshi but Yoshi objected it but said Yoshitino. They both argued each other to select right name for their tag team match. After seeing their argument, General Manager got headache.

Drew McIntyre got one more chance from Theodore Long

In few moments, Drew McIntyre came out and Theodore Long said thanks to the chosen one. Theodore Long talked about Drew McIntyre’s failures but unable to beat Santino Marella even he was cheated in Blindfold match. Santino laughed and left that place with his tag team partner Yoshi Tatsu. Drew McIntyre tried to get a match and Theodore Long did not want to listen to him but arranged a match with Sheamus. McIntyre said thanks to him but Theodore Long said Drew McIntyre’s match is next.

Drew McIntyre attended to this Friday night television program. Lilian Garcia announced a wrestling match, introduced Drew McIntyre and also introduced his opponent Sheamus. Celtic Warrior received outstanding ovation from wrestling fans.

• Sheamus Vs Drew McIntyre

The great white blocked oncoming opponent’s punch, then punched to face repeatedly, also punch to midsection but Drew McIntyre kicked at abdominal area, delivered a powerful forearm smash on backbone repeatedly but Sheamus surprised him with a clothesline. The Irish born pro wrestler dropped an elbow on head, connected elbow to back, hits head to one corner but blocked by McIntyre with a double leg drop kick. However, Sheamus punished Drew McIntyre with a move but later Drew stunned Sheamus on top rope which injured throat area. The chosen one utilized it by dropkicking him in ring, delivered forearm smashes on chest at a corner repeatedly, after that performed northern lights suplex to pin him but Sheamus refused.

Drew McIntyre applied shoulder lock, received some punches to abdominal area but kicked at abs. The chosen one performed belly to belly back suplex, connected a kick to spinal area but the great white seriously reacted, pushed him towards a corner where he punched to stomach, then repeated forearm smashes on back, clothesline, multiple shorthand clotheslines, performed front powerslam, received a punch but delivered a brogue kick to face surprisingly. After that Sheamus pinned Drew McIntyre successfully.

The Celtic Warrior Sheamus received outstanding ovation from wrestling fans. Lilian Garcia promulgated winner of this match is Sheamus. The great white Sheamus celebrated his memorable victory with wrestling fans.

The assistant to the General Manager Santino Marella and his tag team match YoshI Tatsu attended to this Friday night Smackdown. Lilian Garcia announced a tag team match, introduced Santino Marella and Yoshi Tatsu and in few moments WWE tag team champions Epico and Primo came out along with Rosa Mendes.

• Yoshi Tatsu & Santino Marella Vs Epico & Primo in tag team match

The assistant to the General Manager tossed WWE tag team champion primo, did some fun with primo, then twisted ankle of Primo to make him to get facebuster, turned left hand, pulled it down powerfully, then gave tag to his partner and Yoshi Tatsu performed diving elbow drop on hand. Yoshi Tatsu also turned his hand, connected knife edge chops to chest but received a big boot. Epico made tag but Primo diverted Yoshi Tatsu by acting as a legal match and Tatsu delivered a knife edge chop but Epico attacked Yoshi from behind. Epico kicked at midsection repeatedly, punched to face, delivered a full nelson slam and applied chin lock.

However, Yoshi Tatsu kicked at stomach repeatedly but received a kick to abdominal area. After that Santino Marella got tag, blocked punch from Epico, delivered repeated punched to face, then hip toss, after that Salute Flying Headbutt but primo pulled Marella to avoid pin. Tatsu seriously considered, decided to deliver a spinning kick but Primo escaped from it, then eliminated him to outside with a clothesline but received a cobra from Marella. However, Epico surprised the assistant to General Manager with a backstabber and pinned him to win this tag team contest.

Epico lifted injured Primo. In few moments, Rosa Mendes entered into ring where three superstars celebrated their victory. They collected WWE tag team titles and continued celebrating their tag team victory with Rosa Mendes.

Daniel Bryan convinces Mark Henry to teach a lesson to Big Show

World Wrestling Entertainment showed preparation of world’s strongest man Mark Henry at backstage. In few moments, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan came there to talk to Mark Henry. Henry understood Bryan has a good reason to come. He talked about their world title match but Daniel Bryan explained because of lumberjacks, he left that ring but this week Theodore Long did it again in this wrestling event. In fact Bryan already decided to give a rematch to Mark Henry because of respect. He actually came there to talk to Henry about Big Show. The world’s strongest man was unable to understand what he is talking.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion said, Big Show does not have any business in their match at Royal Rumble. Big Show is in their match because Teddy Long wants to see Big Show as world’s champion. Otherwise, Teddy Long should book a match between mark henry and Daniel bryan at royal rumble. Hall of Pain founder understood his reason, asked him what he should do! World’s champion emboldened him to do something to Big Show because everyone knows Henry cane beat Big Show but champion encouraged him to hurt badly. Daniel reminded by saying how many times Big Show injured Mark! For everyone in WWE, somebody should teach a lesson to Big Show a valuable lesson. World’s strongest man can only teach such lessons to him.

Wade Barrett comments on return of Randy Orton

Wade Barrett came out with people boos. Lilian Garcia announced a wrestling match, introduced him. Barrett took microphone, signalled people to calm down and even requested them. He said, most of the people anxiously wait for the viper Randy Orton’s return. People said yes. Barrett revealed Doctors strongly suggested Orton not to wrestle anymore but Orton neglected them because of his ego. Randy might return to Smackdown but spiritually he is broken man as per his statement. People started insulting him but Barrett showed on screen what he did to Orton a month ago. Because of his severe injury, Orton could not return to WWE but finally understood Wade Barrett is an unforgettable competitor.

However, the viper Randy Orton music hits, appeared on stage and people stands for him. Orton ran down, blocked oncoming superstar’s punch, delivered punches to face in return, pushed him into ring, attacked him with clothesline, repeated punched to face, midsection and also on head. In few moments, WWE official came to stop their war but Randy Orton attacked him from behind and hits head on a side of the ring. Orton punched him repeatedly, intidmiated WWE officials but General manager of Smackdown Theodore Long brought Trent Barreta, Tyler Reks, Jimmy & Jey Uso and Curt Hawkins.

They controlled Orton but Wade utilized it and attacked Orton. In ring, Orton speared Barrett but once again Smackdown superstars controlled him and Barrett escaped from Orton. Randy Orton seriously considered, RKO Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins, Trent Barrett and Usos.

Kaitlyn agreed to talk to Big Show

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan talks to AJ’s best friend Kaitlyn at backstage. She replied I do for AJ anything. Bryan appreciated her. She decided to talk to Big Show to make a favour to AJ as well as Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan said to her, he used to keep his life privately and Kaitlyn left that place to talk to Big Show.

Hunico came out in a bicycle along with his bodyguard Camacho. Lilian Garcia announced a wrestling match, introduced Hunico to WWE Universe. As we already know, Ted DiBiase beat Hunico in a flag match at January 20, 2012 Friday night but Hunico decided to face him in this wrestling event. In few moments, Ted DiBiase came out with injured left hand.

• Hunico Vs Ted DiBiase

Hunico plans to attack on Ted DiBiase’s injured left hand but Ted DiBiase tossed Hunico surprisingly. He later controlled his opponent with a clothesline, connected big boot to face, later tried to pull him but Hunico punched on injured left hand. Hunico turned it, leg drop on injured left hand, repeated elbow drops on shoulder, punished him by working on injured arm but later received some punches to abs as well as to head. Ted DiBiase surprised him opponent with a rebound clothesline but unable to perform his finishing move because of severe hand pain. Hunico utilized this opportunity, twisted hand, then damaged with double knee armbreaker, performed Falling Star and pinned Ted DiBiase.

Camacho entered into ring and raised hand of Hunico just like match referee. Lilian Garcia promulgated Hunico as winner of this match. WWE official checked condition of Ted DiBiase but Hunico and Camacho attacked DiBiase illegally. At outside, Camacho delivered a forearm smash on back, puts injured arm on steel steps and Hunico jumped on that injured arm. After that Hunico and Camacho returned to backstage. Similarly, WWE official came out and checked condition of injured hand.

Theodore Long settles problem between Aksana and Natalya

Aksana and General Manager of Smackdown Theodore Long watch this Friday night Smackdown in a television at Gm’s office. General manager asked permission from Aksana but Natalya came out. Natalya asked him a rematch and decided to teach a lesson to super fly Tamina. Aksana reminded GM about Tamina’s victory against Natalya. Natalya seriously considered Aksana’s interference, decided to face Aksana but Aksana talks about her private work with Theodore Long. Theodore Long settled their problem by arranging a match and both divas felt very happy.

Alex Riley was already in ring and waits for his opponent Brodus Clay. After few minutes, The Funkasaurus Brodus Clay came out with his two dancers. Brodus performed dance with his dancers and WWE Universe enjoyed it. Even Alex Riley enjoyed it and appreciated him with claps.

• Alex Riley Vs Brodus Clay

Alex Riley was also entertained wrestling fans by performing dance too. Even Brodus Clay’s two ladies and WWE Universe enjoyed his performance too. Brodus Clay shakes his body in return. Brodus Clay performed snap suplex, then body avalanche to cornered Alex Riley, after that ICU and pinned Alex Riley successfully to win this match.

Brodus Clay felt very happy and shared his happiness with fans by performing dance. WWE Universe enjoyed it.

At backstage, Kaitlyn talks to Big Show.

Natalya was already in ring with smiling face. In few moments, Aksana came out to face her and received good support from WWE Universe. Lilian Garcia introduced her as opponent of Natalya.

• Natalya Vs Aksana

Natalya reached a ring rope but Aksana rolled Natalya and pinned her in few seconds.

Aksana jumped happily to enjoy her victory. Lilian Garcia promulgated Aksana as winner of this match. Natalya seriously considered it, attacked Aksana on knee, applied sharpshooter. Match referee tried to protect Aksana. Fortunately, Tamina came out, escaped from her attack and surprised Natalya with Samoan drop. Tamina punished Natalya further with diving splash and then checked condition of Aksana.

The world’s largest athlete Big Show attended to main event. Lilian Garcia announced a wrestling match, introduced Big Show and then the world’s strongest man Mark henry came out to face him. Surprisingly, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan also attended to this main event and sit near to announce table on a steel chair to watch this biggest man between two Giants.

• Big Show Vs Mark Henry

The world’s largest athlete kicked at abdominal area, repeated forearm smashes on backbone, connected headbutt and the world’s strongest man Mark Henry left that ring. However, Big Show come down to outside, again kicked at abs area, delivered boxing punches to waist, connected another headbutt after pushing him into ring and WWE World Heavyweight Champion carefully observes them from outside by sitting on a chair. At a corner, Big Show delivered open arm chops to chest, powerful punch to midsection but received some punches. However, Mark Henry lost control on his body and fell down from his feet. Match referee checked condition of Mark Henry but the world’s strongest man rolled to outside but unable to respond to match referee and match referee considered Big Show as winner of this match.

After this match, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan attacked Big Show with a steel chair from behind. Bryan attacked knee of Show with steel chair but Big Show delivered a powerful forearm smash on back. Giant hip tossed Bryan but Champion left the ring and again entered into ring, tried to take the steel chair but Big Show took it from him. Daniel Bryan took his title belt, then threw it on Big Show, then dropkicked on left knee, took steel chair, injured Big Show with steel chairs shots on back repeatedly, steel chair shot to knee, then shot to backbone, repeatedly damaged knee with steel chair shots, entered into ring, applied LeBell Lock submission but Big Show broke it by using power.

The Giant chokeslammed Daniel Bryan, decided to knock him out but WWE World Heavyweight Champion escaped from him by going to outside. Big Show was become very angry and said let us see at Sunday. At stage, he showed steel chair to people and signalled them he would win title at Royal Rumble 2012. In this way, World Wrestling Entertainment ended its Friday night Smackdown television wrestling program.
