World Wrestling Federation (WWF) conducted prestigious main event Wrestlemania 17 at Reliant Astrodome in Houston, Texas on 1st April 2001. This was really highlight wrestling event in the WWF. 67,925 wrestling fans attended for this wresting main event Wrestlemania 17 as per their official statistics. Almost all wrestling fans wait for two biggest wrestling superstars Stone Cold Steve Austin and People’s champion The Rock for WWF World Heavy Weight Championship without disqualifications.

Paul Heyman and James William Ross (Well known as JR) were the special commentators for this wrestling match between two wrestling legends Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. Stone Cold Steve Austin challenged WWF World Heavy Weight Champion The Rock. This was last wrestling match in this main event. Finally, both wrestling superstars challenge each other for WWF Title. Both wrestling superstars performed best performance for several minutes.

Suddenly, WWF Chairman Mr. McMahon comes near to the ring. Mr. McMahon lost match against his own son Shane McMahon in few moments before of this match. Mr. McMahon supported to Stone Cold Steve Austin to become new champion. Suddenly, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon become partners and played very worst performance against The Rock. Rock did not lose his concentration at the end of this wrestling match. Stone Cold Steve Austin and Rock both were seriously injured in this match.

Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon cheated Rock but Referee was unable to disqualify this match because this match was no disqualification match. Finally, Rock lost his physical intensity and lost his WWF title. However, Rock was the true champion in this match. This was really bad night for Rock and never forgets in his life. Rock did not discourage about his failure and returned to the WWF Raw in 24 hours (2nd April 2001) to retain his World Wrestling Federation Championship Title against Stone Cold Steve Austin. Finally, Mr. McMahon arranged Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Rematch for WWF title in a Steel Cage with no disqualifications.
