According to WWE wrestling news sources, WWE plans to conduct Championship match between Cena and Alberto Del Rio. Due to Cena's failure at Money In The Bank pay per view and also Alberto Del Rio's victory in Raw ladder match, WWE changed its plan by side kicking the Del Rio from the title storyline. In other words, WWE Champion CM Punk opened a new rivalry with his fellow brand new WWE Champion John Cena by appearing in July 25, 2011 Live Raw wrestling main event. It could develop a perfect story line to SummerSlam wrestling pay per view.
As we already know, CM Punk became new #1 contender at June 20th raw event, promised people that he walks out WWE as new WWE Champion because his contract with WWE expires at midnight of the Money In The Bank pay per view. However, the former chairman of WWE Mr. McMahon afraid of Punk's talk at June 27th event and suspended him by ordering WWE's technical officials to switch OFF his microphone. However, Punk was reinstated by same chairman because of Cena's force in July 4th event.
At Money In The Bank pay per view on July 17, 2011, CM Punk defeated John Cena in his town Chicago, became new WWE Champion but Mr. McMahon tried to get back his title by ordering Raw brand Mr. Money In The Bank Alberto Del Rio to cash his briefcase against CM Punk but Punk destroyed his plan by attacking Alberto Del Rio and left WWE as WWE Champion.
Mr. McMahon attended to July 18th event, said World Wrestling Entertainment is a wrestling promotion company, it does not stop its activities and conducted WWE Championship's tournament between Raw brand Money In The bank ladder match participants but postponed finals match. On same night, his son in law attended to Raw event and takes charge as chief operating officer by releasing Mr. McMahon from his duties because of Board's decision. At July 25th live event, the Chief Operating Officer Triple H conducted finals match between Rey Mysterio and Miz but also conducted another WWE Championship match between Rey Mysterio and John Cena. Cena utilized this opportunity, became brand new WWE Champion but shocked by seeing the man who defeated him at Money In The Bank pay per view and his fellow WWE Champion CM Punk.
At August 1, 2011 Raw event, The Chief Operating Officer was insulted by Punk but solved championship issue by announcing to conduct a Champion Vs Champion match at SummerSlam 2011 pay per view and winner becomes brand new WWE Undisputed Champion. Both wrestling superstars reached one corner. John turned his left hand but his opponent reversed his trick, applied side head lock, surprised him with shoulder block by premeditating his next move but later slightly controlled by Cena.
Punk delivered some knee kicks to midsection, another knee kick to abdominal area, head butts to chest area, applied figure four abdominal lock but Cena later tried to transfer it to STFU but his opponent pushed him by using his both foot. They both were unable to perform belly to back suplex but Punk damaged neck by pulling down it on top rope. Later, punk delivered a springboard drop kick to his opponent and his challenger falls down on floor from ring. He later delivered a shoulder block to abdominal area, kick to kidney area, dropped his leg on chest, locked neck of his opponent but Cena lifted him powerfully and converted it into side slam.
John delivered a running leaping shoulder block but received heel kick when he tries to deliver another shoulder block. Punk did a mistake by connected his knee to one corner when Cena escapes from it. This time, Cena once again delivered shoulder blocks, planned to slam him but reversed by his opponent technically. Punk surprised his opponent with step up high knee but his single handed bulldog was transferred as a slam by Cena. John planned to deliver Five Knuckle Shuffle but his opponent tried to kick him but blocked and hardly tries to transfer it as STFU. However, Punk surprised him with side face buster and locked neck with submission move.
After that Cena converted it as STF but Punk applied anaconda vice. Triple H does his job but Cena quickly surprised him with STF. However his fellow WWE Champion saved this match by holding the bottom rope with his leg, eliminated to outside of the ring, surprised him with suicide dive but later Triple H does not want to end this match with Countout and brought both superstars to ring. Both superstars perfectly handled each other with punches, kicks and chops. After that Cena surprised him with drop kick, delivered Five Knuckle Shuffle, tried AA but Punk converted it as pin fall. They both superstars hardly tried to pin each other but refused.
The straightedge superstar delivered a super kick to neck but refused to take his Go To Sleep and received a kick and then cross body and power slam. However, CM Punk does not want to lose this match. Cena did a mistake by going to top rope and received a step up high knee. Punk delivered bulldog from second rope and this time Cena’s fans insult Punk and Punk’s fans e encouraged Chicago hometown boy. Punk tried springboard clothesline but Cena surprised him with STF. However punk broke it by holding the bottom rope. Both superstars tried to deliver their finishing move but in that war Cena finally delivered a Attitude of Adjustment. However, Punk did not give chance to win this match.
Cena did a mistake by delivering diving leg drop bulldog and Punk escaped from it. WWE Champion CM Punk connected Go To Sleep to John Cena but Cena refused to lose this match. The straightedge superstar goes top rope, delivered high flying elbow drop on Cena just like legendary Macho Man Randy Savage. WWE Universe starts chanting Randy Savage’s name. Punk connected knee but Cena perfectly handled with his amateur punches and kicks but Punk surprised him with a super kick to his abs, delivered step up high knee, connected GTS to Cena and pinned John Cena to become Undisputed WWE Champion and celebrated his memorable victory with wrestling fans.
