The Brian Kendrick and Ezekiel Jackson defeated Jesse and Festus with smart game plan. World Wrestling Entertainment announced a WWE Tag Team Championship match with Carlito and Primo on same night in next week.

On April 13, 2009 in Raw edition, The Brian Kendrick faced the big red machine Kane by appearing with his body guard Ezekiel Jackson but defeated by Kane.

On May 4, 2009 in Raw edition, The Brian Kendrick faced Carlito in one on one wrestling match but lost to WWE Unified tag team champion Carlito. However, The Brian Kendrick claimed a rematch and faced Carlito at Raw on May 11, 2009. The Brian Kendrcik defeated Carlito successfully. After this match, The Brian Kendrick said, i am going to become new one half of tag team champion to give a shocking suprise to Carlito.
