On August 26, 2007 at SummerSlam, the great khali retained his title by injuring Batista with steel chair but seriously destroyed by the Batista with repeated steel chairs shots after this match from Batista.

On January 2, 2009 in Smackdown edition, the great khali took group photos with Hornswoggle, his manager Ranjin Singh and his tag team partner Finlay at backstage. Later, the great khali teamed up with Finlay to face Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder. The Great Khali and Finlay defeated Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder. The Great Khali celebrated his victory with Finlay and Hornswoggle in their style.
On January 23, 2009 in Smackdown, The Great Khali faced Chavo Guerrero and defeated Chavo Guerrero successfully.
On April 10, 2009 in Smackdown edition, The Great Khali responded to Santino Marella’s open challenge and requested Santino Marella to kiss his sister Santina Marella in Great Khali’s kiss cam but Santino Marella rejected his proposal. The Great Khali defeated Santino Marella successfully.
On April 13, 2009 in Raw edition, The Great Khali faced Santino Marella and defeat him easily and got Draft Pick. Mr. Money In The Bank CM Punk drafted to WWE Smackdown.
The Great Khali appeared with his manager Ranjin Singh to face Mike Knox. Mike Knox hardly tried to control Great Khali but failed. However, the big red machine Kane appeared to divert Great Khali’s concentration and Mike Knox tried to use this opportunity but Great Khali defeated Mike Knox. Great Khali challenged Kane to face him in same ring but Kane simply returned to backstage.
The Great Khali faced Charlie Haas in this Smackdown edition. The Great Khali well performed excellent wrestling performance and dominated Charlie Haas. Suddenly, the big red machine Kane appeared in the wrestling ring and tried to Chockslam The Great Khali but The Great Khali did not give chance to Kane. Kane afraid to chockslam The Great Khali and simply stepped out from wrestling ring. However, Kane attacked The Great Khali’s manager Ranjin Singh. The Great Khali tried to catch Kane but Kane escaped quickly from The Great Khali. The Great Khali checked heatlh condition of his manager Ranjin Singh.
On August 28, 2009 at Smackdown edition, The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh appeared after a wrestling match between Kane and Rey Mysterio. The Great Khali blocked hand shots of Kane and threw from wrestling ring. Later, Great Khali’s manager Ranjin Singh injured Kane with Singapore Can and Kane seriously reacted and decided to chock slam. However, The Great Khali destroyed Kane with four powerful Singapore Can shots.
On September 11, 2009 in Smackdown edition, The Great Khali met David Hart Smith in one on one wrestling match but The Great Khali attacked by Kane. Kane tried to attack Great khali with Singapore Cane but The Great Khali destroyed Kane successfully.
On September 18, 2009 in Smackdown edition, The Great Khali faced the big red machine Kane but Kane disqualified from match by attacking Khali with steel chair. The Great Khali’s left leg also damaged by the Kane with continuous steel steps shots. Later, WWE official have sent Great Khali for medical treament in a movable stretcher.
