The Hurricane music hits and appeared at ECW event on August 18, 2009 for ECW Wrestling fans. ECW ring announced introduced The Hurricane to this wrestling event. Wrestling fans gave excellent response for his presence. As we already know, Paul Burchill injured Gregory Helms last week without reason. Similarly, Paul Burchill and Katie Lea Burchill attacked Yoshi Tatsu in one on one wrestling match at ECW edition on August 11, 2009. However, The Hurricane appeared after that wrestling match and saved Yoshi Tatsu from Paul Burchill and Katie Lea Burchill. So, ECW decided to conduct the starting match between these two wrestling superstars as per their interest. In few moments, Paul Burchill music hits. Paul Burchill appeared with his sister Katie Lea Burchill. Tony Chimel introduced Paul Burchill and Katie Lea Burchill to this wrestling event.

Paul Burchill and Katie Lea Burchill entered into wrestling ring. Match referee officially started this wrestling match by allowing time keeper to ring the bell. The Hurricane reversed his body to give good starting to this wrestling match. Paul Burchill frustrated and decided to face The Hurricane but The Hurricane once again reversed his body. Similarly, The Hurricane increased pressure on his left hand shoulder. However, Paul Burchill and The Hurricane went one corner of the wrestling ring where Paul Burchill injured his stomach with shoulder block. Paul Burchill gave powerful hand punches, leg shots and shoulder blocks. Later, Paul Burchill powerful threw The Hurricane towards one corner of the wrestling ring. Paul Burchill insulted The Hurricane but received three powerful hand shots from Hurricane.

The Hurricane reversed Paul Burchill and caught his neck to chockslam Paul Burchill. Paul Burchill kicked into stomach area of the Hurricane. The Hurricane jumped over Paul Burchill. The Hurricane gave powerful hand shots to Paul Burchill. The Hurricane locked his head with head lock. Katie Lea Burchill encouraged his brother Paul Burchill to control Hurricane. Paul Burchill stood on his feet and reversed The Hurricane. Later, Paul Burchill tried to attack Hurricane but Hurricane eliminated Paul Burchill by pulling top ring rope. Hurricane goes top rope and seriously injured Paul Burchill with high flying cross body. Hurricane and Paul Burchill reentered into wrestling ring. Hurricane goes top rope but Paul Burchill dragged his legs. Similarly, Paul Burchill damaged back of the Hurricane with security wall. Later, Paul Burchill applied head lock to Hurricane in order to control Hurricane.

Paul Burchill continuously increased pressure on his neck area. The Hurricane stood on his feet and gave powerful hand shots into his stomach area. The Hurricane tried to reverse Paul Burchill but received a powerful close line from Paul Burchill. Paul Burchill covered The Hurricane to submit pin fall but The hurricane rejected his pin fall in order to save this wrestling match. Paul Burchill gave an elbow shot on his head. Once again, Paul Burchill increased pressure on his neck. Wrestling fans encouraged The Hurricane to control Paul Burchill. Hurricane gave two elbow shots into his stomach area. However, Paul Burchill powerfully threw Hurricane towards one corner of the wrestling ring. In few moments, Paul Burchill gave a double knee kick on his chest area. Paul Burchill dragged Hurricane to center of the wrestling ring.

Paul Burchill covered The Hurricane to submit pin fall but The Hurricane rejected his pin fall twice. Paul Burchill injured side face of Hurricane with side hand shots. Paul Burchill increased pressure on his neck. Wrestling fans encouraged Hurricane to control Paul Burchill. Hurricane stood on his feet and gave powerful hand shots into his stomach area. However, Paul Burchill gave a knee shot into his stomach and also injured his stomach area with shoulder block. Paul Burchill lifted Hurricane to top rope. Paul Burchill gave hand shots to Hurricane for superplex. Hurricane gave continuous hand shots and head butts to Paul Burchill repeatedly. Hurricane pushed Paul Burchill back. Hurricane stood on top rope and jumped over Paul Burchill with high cross body. Hurricane blocked hand shot of Paul burchill and gave four powerful hand shots to Paul Burchill.

The Hurricane tried to reverse paul burchill but Paul Burchill reversed The Hurricane. However, Paul Burchill received an elbow shot from Paul Burchill when Paul Burchill tried to attack him. In few moments, Hurricane injured his front body area by throwing him over one corner of the wrestling ring. In few moments, Hurricane gave flying close line. Hurricane covered Paul Burchill to submit pin fall but Paul Burchill rejected his pin fall in order to save this wrestling match. Hurricane damaged neck of the Paul Burchill with neck breaker. Hurricane submitted pin fall but Paul Burchill rejected his pin fall. Hurricane reversed Paul Burchill towards one corner of the wrestling ring and tried to attack him but Paul Burchill escaped from Hurricane. The Hurricane is injured himself with same corner of the wrestling ring. Paul Burchill surprised Hurricane with reverse kick.

Paul Burchill covered The Hurricane by covering him but Hurricane rejected his pin fall. The Hurricane lifted Paul Burchill over top rope. The Hurricane gave four powerful hand shot into his stomach area. Hurricane also goes top rope and reversed him from top rope with the help of his two legs. The Hurricane submitted pin fall but Paul Burchill rejected his pin fall in order to save this wrestling match. Hurricane decided to give a leg shot but Paul Burchill escaped from his leg shot. Paul Burchill kicked into his stomach area and tried to suplex him. However, hurricane escaped intelligently and damaged his neck with neck breaker. Hurricane covered Paul Burchill and submitted pin fall. The Hurricane successfully defeated Paul Burchill. Hurricane celebrated his victory with wrestling fans and returned to backstage very happily.
