The Miz and Montel Vontavious Porter both are qualified to 30 Man battle royal rumble. However, Smackdown General manager Theodore Long ordered WWE United States Champion The Miz to face #1 contender MVP in United States Championship match at Royal Rumble 2010. As per the official order, both wrestling superstars were challenged in this wrestling main event.

WWE United States Champion The Miz decided to give good starting to this wrestling match with his game but MVP reversed his game plan by dominating the champion with his wrestling skills. Later, #1 contender of the WWE United States Championship well dominated the The Miz with his domination. Similarly, the miz got grip on this match by damaging the back of MVP.

In few moments, the miz successfully handled his opponent. Similarly, MVP also surprised his champion with a boot shot. Montel Vontavious Porter hardly tried to win this match but successfully retained his title through pin fall. Later, The Miz celebrated his victory with wrestling match but destroyed by MVP with playmaker due to frustration.
