World Wrestling Entertainment presented WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between #1 contender Rey Mysterio and WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker in this Friday night Smackdown edition. As we already know that Rey Mysterio became new #1 contender by defeating his former best friend Animal Batista. Actually, Rey Mysterio already faced the undertaker in fatal four world heavyweight championship match at Bragging Rights 2009 pay per view.

Most of the people believe that Rey Mysterio and The Undertaker never faced each other in one on one wrestling match but it is wrong. Actually, Rey Mysterio defeated by The Undertaker in WWE Championship #1 contender’s first round tournament at Smackdown on April 3, 2003. Now, they both once again met in one on one match but it was for WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Rey Mysterio tried to escape from the legendary the undertaker.

However, the undertaker quickly caught him and seriously damaged his back. However, Rey Mysterio successfully dominated him with his intelligent wrestling performance. The Undertaker successfully destroyed his opponent. Suddenly, batista attacked the undertaker and destroyed him with spine buster. Rey Mysterio later connected 619 to the undertaker and then batista.

As per match referee’s decision, the undertaker successfully retained his WWE World heavyweight championship due to batista’s interference.
