Triple H appeared in WWE Raw edition on September 21, 2009 with Shawn Michaels to face Cody Rhodes in one on one wrestling match. As we already know, Shawn Michaels defeated Ted DiBiase in last week Raw edition. Legacy and D Generation X seriously injured each other on same night. However, Triple H faced Cody Rhodes to build route to hell in a cell match. Ted DiBiase also appeared with Cody Rhodes. Cody Rhodes started this wrestling match by dominating Triple H. Cody Rhodes well handled Cody Rhodes and Triple H was unable to control Cody Rhodes with his wrestling performance.

Ted DiBiase encouraged Cody Rhodes. Cody Rhodes damaged neck of Triple H with neck breaker. Shawn Michaels worried about Triple H by seeing Cody Rhodes domination. Ted DiBiase injured Triple H with cheap shot. Cody Rhodes really impressed wrestling fans by continuing his domination. Cody Rhodes jumped over Triple H from top rope. Shawn Michaels was shocked by seeing mocking of Cody Rhodes. Triple H recovered from injuries and destroyed Cody Rhodes by dropping his body to outside. Cody Rhodes slapped Shawn Michaels.

Later, Shawn Michaels and Ted DiBiase fight at outside of the ring. Ted DiBiase injured Shawn Michaels with announce table. Ted DiBiase attacked Triple H with steel chair. Match referee disqualified Cody Rhodes. Cody Rhodes also injured Triple H with neck breaker. Wrestling fans insulted Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes. Ted DiBiase destroyed Triple H. Legacy decided to break neck of Triple H. Later, Shawn Michaels brought a sledgehammer to save Triple H. Legacy left the ring. As per match referee’s decision, Triple H is winner of this match.
