Rey Mysterio would like to accomplish WWE World Heavyweight Championship title once more time and entered into wwe title route. He several times tried to capture title from undertaker but failed especially, he failed to collect the title due to Batista interference on December 25, 2009 Smackdown. However, on January 15, 2010 at Smackdown, Rey Mysterio became new #1 contender of world title by defeating Batista in a steel cage match.

Finally, the # 1 contender faced the champion at Royal Rumble 2010 main event. Rey Mysterio gave excellent starting to this wrestling match but the undertaker threw Rey Mysterio to outside of the ring. The #1 contender understood the situation and re entered into wrestling ring. The Undertaker got grip on this WWE World Heavyweight Championship match with his power dominating game.

Rey Mysterio tried to give 619 but the undertaker caught him. However, he tried to control but failed to control the champion. Undertaker gave a chance to Rey Mysterio by injuring himself with steel ring pole. Rey Mysterio well utilized this opportunity and successfully controlled the champion. However, the undertaker seriously damaged rey Mysterio by hitting him to security wall.

Rey Mysterio impressed wrestling world with his extreme wrestling skills but dominated by the champion. Rey Mysterio connected 619 to undertaker twice but destroyed with last ride. WWE World heavyweight champion the undertaker defeated Rey Mysterio through pin fall. He celebrated his victory with wrestling fans.
