World Championship Wrestling (WCW)
World Championship Wrestling was an American professional wrestling industry and also major competitor to World Wrestling Entertainment. It was founded by Ted Turner on November 21, 1988 and sold to Mr. McMahon in 2001.
History
On September 4, 1995, WCW introduced a new Monday night entertaining program called WCW Nitro and broadcasted at the time of WWE’s Raw event broadcasting.
