Bragging Rights is new wrestling pay per view of World Wrestling Entertainment. World Wrestling Entertainment conducts this pay per view with WWE Raw and Smackdown at Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 25th October 2009. This wrestling pay per view will be presented after Hell In a Cell 2009 Pay Per View. Bragging Rights also builds story for next pay per view Survivor Series 2009. Michael Cole, Todd Grisham and Jerry Lawler were official commentators.

WWE Champion John Cena lost his WWE Championship to Randy Orton inside hell in a cell at WWE Hell In a Cell 2009 pay per view on October 4, 2009. However, on October 5, 2009 at Raw edition John Cena and WWE Champion Randy Orton agreed one more match which is a 60 minute Iron Man match for WWE Championship in this pay per view on one stipulation. John Cena has to leave only from Raw permanently if John Cena looses his match to Randy Orton.

On October 12, 2009 in Raw, WWE selected six wrestling superstars for Raw team. Either Chris Masters or Mark Henry will join in Raw team.
