WWE NXT – February 23, 2010
NXT is a brand new Tuesday night entertainment program for wrestling fans. Previously, World Wrestling Entertainment conducts ECW as Tuesday night main event but replaced by the NXT. WWE has conducted first ever NXT weekly wrestling edition on February 23, 2010 for wrestling fans. Michael Cole and Josh Mathews were official commentators for this wrestling event. Matt Striker was official interviewer and host for this wrestling main event. Savannah was official ring announcer of this first ever NXT.
World Wrestling Entertainment has acquired eight professional wrestling superstars. These professional wrestling superstars called as Rookies. World Wrestling Entertainment showed these eight professional NXT superstars at the starting of this show.

Similarly, World Wrestling Entertainment has selected eight professional WWE wrestling superstars from Raw and Smackdown to guide Rookies. These eight NXT Pros are listed below.
- The Miz
The Miz has appeared in front of them and looked at each and every superstar in order to select one of them as his Rookie. The Miz selected Daniel Bryan as his Rookie. He introduced Daniel Bryan as Unified United States tag team champion. The Miz praised Daniel Bryan because Daniel Bryan travelled around the world as a professional wrestling superstar. One more important thing is Daniel Bryan has trained by the heart break kid Shawn Michaels. The Miz asked Daniel Bryan to know whether he is interested to enter into WWE. Daniel Bryan was ready to introduce himself to wrestling world.
The Miz ordered Daniel Bryan to go to ring and encouraged his Rookie to introduce himself to WWE Universe. The Miz encouraged his Rookie to go to ring with his music but Daniel Bryan hesitated to go to ring with Miz’s music. The Miz understood and said Good Luck and then Daniel Bryan went to ring with Miz’s music.
Matt Striker appeared with a microphone at backstage. He said that NXT Rookies are joined with us to achieve WWE dream. Savannah appeared in ring and introduced Daniel Bryan to wrestling world. Daniel Bryan took microphone from her. He felt very happy to meet WWE Universe openly. Later, he talked about his pro The Miz but wrestling fans did not give much importance to Miz. He understood his wrestling fans’ reaction and apologized by saying I am Sorry. Actually, he would like to consider William Regal as his Pro but now The Miz.
Actually, he came here to introduce himself to wrestling world as per his Pro’s order. Daniel Bryan introduced himself to wrestling world and also said; he has been wrestling for this last ten years. Finally, he got an opportunity to enter into WWE. NXT is the next evolution as per his statement. He would like to say something wrestling fans but The Miz interrupted his Rookie’s show by hitting his music.
The Miz seriously considered by listening Daniel Bryan’s words I am sorry. Daniel Bryan did not give much importance to The Miz. The Miz understood situation and talked about his submission specialization. Daniel Bryan talked about The Miz’s reality show but The Miz did not want to talk about that show. The Miz said; I am the Miz and I am awesome. Some people gave response to Miz. Daniel Bryan did not understand. Daniel Bryan gave a warning to Miz. He can tap or slap Miz whenever they are in same ring.
The Miz blamed his rookie by talking about his rookie’s personality. The Miz slapped his rookie in front of wrestling fans. The Miz later left that ring silently. Daniel Bryan seriously considered and decided to slap The Miz in front wrestling fans later.
At backstage, Matt Striker asked Daniel Bryan’s reaction about The Miz’s attitude. Actually, Daniel Bryan did not consider it too serious but promised his pro to slap very harder. Matt Striker asked him whether he wants to be star or not. Daniel Bryan would like to be star but he can become star by his own. Matt Striker suggested Daniel Bryan; if he wants to become star then he must listen to his pro.
Carlito music hits and appeared with Michael Tarver. He considered Michel Tarver as his right Rookie with the help of his knowledge, skills and mentoring. There is no doubt about it; Michael Tarver becomes next WWE NXT breakout star. Later, Christian and his Rookie Heath Slater attended to this first ever NXT.
