WWE wrestling fans around the world used to attend to these annual wrestling pay per view main events mostly to WrestleMania.

World Wrestling Entertainment presented several greatest memorable wrestling pay per view main events and few of them are still entertaining wrestling fans but most of them were officially closed. However, this wrestling promotion company introduces brand new pay per views and restarts some previous annual events with new concept.

Armageddon

Armageddon was a former pay per view of WWE. WWE presented its first Armageddon on December 12, 1999, replaced it with Vengeance in 2001 but restarted again in 2002 and continued up to 2008 year but officially closed by replacing it with brand new pay per view Tables, Ladders & Chairs in 2009.

Backlash

Backlash was a most successful annual wrestling main event from 1999 to 2008. World Wrestling Entertainment conducts its first Backlash under In Your House brand on April 25, 1999 and it was also last pay per view under In Your House. From 2000 to 2009, WWE conducted Backlash as an independent pay per view but officially closed it in 2009 because of sudden drop in attendance. In 2010, it was replaced by Extreme Rules.

Bad Blood

Bad Blood was a former pay per view and it was originally started as Badd Blood on October 5, 1997 under In Your House. However, WWE restarted it as Bad Blood on June 15, 2003 but officially ended it in 2004 by replacing it with One Night Stand in 2005. However, the specialty of Bad Blood was, it was featured with dangerous Hell in a Cell matches.

Bragging Rights

Bragging Rights is a former pay per view and its first pay per view was conducted on October 25, 2009 but the attendance was dropped in 2010 and it was replaced by the former wrestling pay per view Vengeance in 2011.

Breaking Point

Breaking Point was a former pay per view and conducted on September 13, 2009.

Cyber Sunday

Cyber Sunday was a professional wrestling pay per view, formally known as Taboo Tuesday, originally started it in 2004 but WWE presented it firstly as Cyber Sunday on November 5, 2006 and it became successful but in 2008, the attendance was dropped than previous year. Hence, World Wrestling Entertainment replaced it with brand new pay per view Bragging Rights.

December to Dismember

December to Dismember was originally pay per view of Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). Its first event was conducted at ECW Arena on December 9, 1995 by Extreme Championship Wrestling. After acquiring ECW, it was once again conducted in 2006 by World Wrestling Entertainment with ECW television program superstars. In 2007, it was scheduled by WWE but officially cancelled.

Elimination Chamber

Elimination Chamber is a most successful annual wrestling pay per view, featured with Elimination Chamber wrestling matches and its first edition was presented on February 21, 2010. World Wrestling Entertainment successfully conducted two Elimination Chamber pay per views and scheduled its third Elimination Chamber event at Bradley Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 19, 2012.

Extreme Rules

Extreme Rules is an annual wrestling pay per view and its edition was presented on June 7, 2009. WWE successfully presented three Extreme Rules pay per views.

Fatal 4-Way

WWE introduced Fatal 4-Way on June 20, 2010 but it was replaced by Capitol Punishment in 2011.

New Year's Revolution

New Year’s Resolution was a most successful annual wrestling pay per view and its first edition was presented on January 9, 2005 and continued following edition up to 2007 year.  In 2008, it was officially cancelled because WWE decided to limit the number of pay per views for every year.

Taboo Tuesday was a least reputed annual wrestling event, its first annual wrestling pay per view was presented on October 19, 2004 and in 2005 the reputation was increased. However, WWE changed its name as Cyber Sunday in 2006.

Unforgiven

Unforgiven was a most successful and unforgettable annual wrestling pay per view. Its first annual edition was presented under In Your House on April 26, 1998. Because of its great success, it was continued up to 2008 but in 2009 it was replaced by Breaking Point.

Vengeance

WWE started Vengeance pay per view on December 9, 2001, revolutionized wrestling world with greatest matches but from 2003 onwards, the attendance was down in the next following years. However in 2007, World Wrestling Entertainment raised its attendance by changing its name to Night of Champions and did not used its name in next Night of Champion events but restarted it as a different pay per view in 2011.

WrestleMania

WrestleMania is #1 longest running, historic and prestigious reputed annual wrestling pay per view and its first WrestleMania was conducted on March 31, 1985. WWE successfully conducted 27 WrestleMania events and scheduled its 28 edition on April 1, 2012 by featuring John Cena Vs Rock match.
