WWE Raw – April 5, 2010
World Wrestling Entertainment presented Monday night Raw edition on April 5, 2010 to entertain wrestling fans. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler were official commentators for this wrestling event. This weekly wrestling edition was actually built based on WrestleMania XXVI but builds story for Extreme Rules 2010 wrestling main event. David Otunga earned an opportunity to host Monday night Raw by winning the NXT Battle royal on March 30, 2010 at WWE NXT.
The new Money in the bank winner and WWE World heavyweight Champion attended to Monday night Raw edition. Actually, he is the Raw brand superstar but won Smackdown’s World heavyweight champion by cashing his money in the bank. Wrestling fans did not much importance his presence. Jack Swagger showed the highlights of last week wrestling edition and wrestling match.
Last Friday night on Smackdown, he made history and cashed money in the bank to become new world champion. However, wrestling fans did not give respect to this new champion. Actually, he would like to chase his money in the bank against John Cena but failed. However, he changed his mind set and become new champion. He understood that he is not easy to beat John Cena but he defeated Chris Jericho in only 9 seconds. As per his statement, no one can has the ability like him.
In few moments, WWE Champion John Cena music hits and he received amazing response from wrestling fans. WWE World Heavyweight Champion shocked but expected this. John Cena signaled wrestling fans to maintain silent because he would like to say something to wrestling world. John Cena congratulated Jack Swagger. He praised Jack Swagger as luckiest man on this planet. Actually, wrestling fans consider what Jack Swagger is and what is going to do! as per John Cena. John Cena was doubted whether he stays in Raw or not.
John Cena remembered that Jack Swagger says nobody especially Raw brand superstars can’t beat him. John Cena would like to give a chance to him. In other words, John Cena is interested to face Jack Swagger in this wrestling event because Jack Swagger may no longer participate in Raw brand matches. Suddenly, Randy Orton music hits surprisingly. Randy Orton entered into wrestling ring to say something to them.
Randy Orton would like to face Jack Swagger. In few moments, WWE Unified tag team champion The Big Show and Miz interrupted their show. WWE United States Champion The Miz praised their tag team. Suddenly, WWE Raw guest host David Otunga came to settle their issue.
David Otunga introduced himself as Mr. NXT as well as guest host to Raw wrestling fans. He would like to entertain wrestling fans with better entertainment. David Otunga announced a wrestling match between Jack Swagger and Randy Orton. Similarly, David Otunga announced Unified tag team championship match between Unified tag team champions and Batista but ordered John Cena to team up with John Cena. WWE Champion John Cena shocked. Randy Orton tried to attack John Cena with RKO but John Cena threw Randy Orton towards Jack Swagger. Randy Orton surprised Jack Swagger with RKO. Later, John Cena left that ring.
