WWE Raw – January 14, 2008
World Wrestling Entertainment presented WWE Raw Monday night wrestling edition at Mobile, Alabama on January 14, 2008 to entertain wrestling fans. Lilia Garcia was an official ring announcer. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler were official commentators.
WWE Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy music hits and wrestling fans gave excellent response to his presence. Wrestling fans chanted his name. The new #1 contender Jeff hardy felt very happy by seeing their support. He said that Jeff Hardy is excited. In less than 2 weeks of this wrestling edition, he earned a chance to become WWE Champion. He is very curious to achieve that goal. However, he was angry due to Randy Orton’s actions last week.
#1 contender Jeff hardy would like to face in this wrestling edition before Royal Rumble. Last week, he did not get chance to face WWE Champion but he decided to face champion in this Monday night Raw edition. WWE Intercontinental Champion Jeff hardy called him to accept his challenge. As per his challenge, WWE Champion Randy Orton responded by appearing in this wrestling event. He accepted his challenge. However, wrestling fans hated WWE Champion very seriously.
Randy Orton stated that there is only two superstars who won both WWE title and Intercontinental Championship in history but he would like to become third person. As per Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy is going to face him for his title but he would like to face Jeff Hardy for his Intercontinental title in this Raw edition. Jeff Hardy accepted his condition. WWE Champion appreciated him for his quick response.
He cleared that at royal rumble I am going to take your title however he is going to take him out in this wrestling edition. Wrestling fans gave good support to Jeff hardy for his guts.

WWE showed Chairman of the WWE Vince McMahon and WWE Raw manager William Regal. By considering his confidence, Vince McMahon knew William Regal will beat Ric Flair. William Regal was very confident even though Randy Orton and Triple H failed to defeat Ric Flair. Vince McMahon was very happy. Suddenly, Snitsky appeared beside to Vince McMahon. Snitsky actually waits for his chance and decided to destroy someone here in this Raw.
Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels music hits and appeared in this wrestling edition to face his opponent Trevor Murdoch in Royal Rumble qualifying match. Wrestling fans chanted his name. He said that Should I have to participate in a Royal Rumble qualifying match?
Wrestling fans insulted WWE for this match making. Shawn Michaels also said, he won the Royal Rumble in two separate occasions. However, still WWE is included Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels in a Royal Rumble qualifying match. Actually, he came out here to challenge Mr. Kennedy. He suggested WWE to make Royal Rumble qualifying match with Mr. Kennedy. However, WWE made Royal Rumble qualifying match with Trevor Murdoch.

World Wrestling Entertainment talked to Hornswoggle at backstage. He said to him, you are going to participate in 30 Men Royal Rumble match but you don’t have much experienced in that kind of matches. So, Vince McMahon decided to give some experience with Hornswoggle in this wrestling event. Vince McMahon introduced his opponents Mr. Kennedy, Mankind and Batista. So, Hornswoggle proved himself, he will go to WrestleMania through Royal Rumble easily. However, he does not want to arrange these matches in this wrestling main event.
Hornswoggle was discouraged by listening Mr. McMahon’s decision. Vince McMahon said to Hornswoggle. Your last name is McMahon, so anything can happen but squeezed his neck.
