WWE Raw – January 7, 2008
World Wrestling Entertainment presented WWE Raw weekly wrestling edition on January 7, 2008 at Uncasville, Connecticut. This Monday night Raw builds story for Royal Rumble 2008 pay per view.
World Wrestling Entertainment showed WWE Raw General Manager William Regal. In few moments, Chairman of the World Wrestling Entertainment Mr. McMahon came. William Regal would like to talk to the chairman but the owner does not want to talk to general manager. The owner of the WWE said that WWE Universe expects something tonight because this is first Raw edition in this year. He would like to show this Raw with innovation. So, the chairman introduced Raw Roulette concept to entertain wrestling fans.
Mr. McMahon explains the concept of Roulette to general manager with excitement. The chairman finally said happy New Year to William Regal. William Regal needs to talk about Hornswoggle with chairman. Mr. McMahon seriously put his face. In few moments, Mr. McMahon announced a match between Triple H and William Regal. Mr. McMahon would like to decide the match type. As per Roulette’s result, he announced their match as first blood match. William Regal understood situation and left that room.
Suddenly, the game Triple H attacked William Regal when the general manager went to outside of that room. He destroyed the manager but WWE officials stopped the game Triple H.

At backstage, Mr. McMahon talks to Maria about divas match. Maria was so excited to know the match type. As per Raw Roulette, it shows submission match but Mr. McMahon made this match divas pillow fight match. He actually wants to show the romantic fight of divas. Maria felt very happy to participate in pillow fight.
At backstage, Todd Grisham invited WWE Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy as his guest to this edition. He inquired about his brother Matt hardy’s health. Jeff Hardy said that he is alright in hospital. He seriously considered Randy Orton’s attitude and he would like to eliminate Randy Orton from WWE permanently at Royal Rumble.
At backstage, Hornswoggle revolves around the roulette with excitement. In few moments, Mr. McMahon stopped his son. Mr. McMahon talked about Hornswoggle’s brother in law Triple H. He would like to entertain his son Hornswoggle in New Year. He talked about 1999 Royal Rumble asked one question. Do you know who won 1999 Royal Rumble?
Hornswoggle showed his father Mr. McMahon. Mr. McMahon felt very happy with his son’s reply. His father said that another McMahon is going to win this year’s Royal Rumble. Once again, Hornswoggle showed his father but Mr. McMahon showed his son at this time. Hornswoggle McMahon was so excited by imagining his future accomplishment. Mr. McMahon encouraged his son to quality to Royal Rumble.
Mr. McMahon decided to conduct a tag team match with Hornswoggle but Finlay is not here tonight. Hornswoggle discouraged. However, the chairman asked his son to select any wrestling superstar as his tag team partner for his match. Hornswoggle left that place to search for his tag team partner. Mr. McMahon felt very happy by seeing his son.

Hornswoggle later met Santino Marella to request him as his tag team partner. Santino Marella does not want to work with Hornswoggle because he hates small people. Hornswoggle discouraged.

John Bradshaw Layfield completely lost control his control and seriously injured Chris Jericho with clotheslines and also damaged Chris Jericho’s neck by pulling him with a rope. However, WWE officials involved in this matter and ordered him to go to backstage and saved Chris Jericho in last breath.
