WWE Raw – September 17, 2007
World Wrestling Entertainment presented WWE Monday night Raw edition at Nashville, TN on September 17, 2007. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler were official commentators for this weekly wrestling event. Lillian Garcia is an official ring announcer. This is first Monday night Raw after Unforgiven 2007 pay per view. This wrestling edition builds story for No Mercy 2007 main event.
WWE Champion John Cena music hits and appeared in this wrestling event and also received excellent response from wrestling fans. Some of wrestling fans did not like what John Cena did last night. John Cena understood reason behind their discouragement. John Cena said sorry to wrestling fans. He said that tonight is different story because he feels great and fabulous. He enjoyed this edition because he lost to Randy Orton. He actually comes out here to say thanks to wrestling fans including his respected father.
Similarly, he also said thanks to Randy Orton. He talked about his father’s punishment. Randy Orton considered Randy Orton as stupid because he received a Last Man standing match with john Cena. He later talked about Jonathan Coachman because he has the power to make the matches. He officially announced a last man standing match with Randy Orton for WWE Championship. Wrestling fans felt very happy for his announcement. He explained rules of last man standing match means no rules, no limits, no pin falls and no disqualifications. As per last man standing rules, he did right last night. Similarly, he could do whatever he wants to Randy Orton at No Mercy. He felt very happy and said thanks to Jonathan Coachman.
In few moments, WWE Raw General Manager Jonathan Coachman responded to John Cena’s appreciation. He said that John Cena’s father involved in last night’s match and attacked Randy Orton. Similarly, John Cena also put his hands on Jonathan Coachman last night. He claimed an apology on spot. Similarly, he has the right to take WWE title from John Cena but he does not want to do that. By seriously considering John Cena’s revenge last night, he is going to allow Randy Orton to do same thing. He announced a match between Orton and Cena in this main event. Wrestling fans and John Cena felt very happy.
John Cena once again said thanks to WWE Raw General Manager Jonathan Coachman. He also decided to punish John Cena after making last man standing match last night. He met John Cena’s father few hours ago. Similarly, he requested Mr. Cena to come to this wrestling edition. He informed his father to collect WWE title from John Cena. However, Mr. Cena begged Jonathan Coachman not to do this as per his statement. During the conversation, Mr. Cena promised him to do anything for his son. That’s why he made Orton Vs Cena match. He opened the mystery, which means Mr. Cena is going to face Legend Killer Randy Orton in this wrestling edition.
WWE Champion John Cena was shocked and insulted WWE Raw General Manager Jonathan Coachman. Jonathan Coachman finalized a match between Mr. Cena and Randy Orton.

WWE showed Chairman of the WWE Vince McMahon in his car and he saw his watch for time. In few moments, WWE Raw General Manager Jonathan Coachman gets into the car to talk with Vince McMahon. He talked about main event but Vince McMahon was not feeling well. He understood his mood. Raw General Manager promised McMahon to solve this problem in couple of weeks. Later, WWE showed Hornswoggle on same car but he was eating too much. Vince McMahon ordered Jonathan Coachman to take care Hornswoggle. Later, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Hornswoggle and Jonathan Coachman get out from that car.

At backstage, Cody Rhodes explained his problem to WWE Raw General Manger Jonathan Coachman. He was requested him to arranged match with Randy Orton in order to take revenge. He appreciated Cody Rhodes’ request but he did not want to make that match.
In few moments, WWE Champion John Cena met Jonathan Coachman. John Cena looked into Jonathan Coachman’s eyes very seriously. He gave a warning to Jonathan Coachman to call off his father and also said that he is not responsible what happens in that match and also what happens to anyone.
Jonathan Coachman forgot to mention one thing. He would like to arrange a match for WWE Champion in this event. He gave one option to John Cena. In other words, Jonathan Coachman decided to stop his father’s match with Orton if John Cena wins tonight but he did not reveal name of John Cena’s opponent. Jonathan Coachman put Mr. Cena’s fate in John Cena’s hands. Later, he left that place.

Later, John Cena was locked to bottom ring rope with hand cuts. In few moments, Jonathan Coachman came and explained rules of this match. As per his explanation, John Cena should win this match by either pin fall or submission not by disqualification. So, Jonathan Coachman officially decided to conduct a match between Randy Orton and Mr. Cena.
