WWE Smackdown – April 2, 2010
World Wrestling Entertainment conducted Friday night Smackdown edition on April 2, 2010 to entertain WWE Universe. Matt Striker and Todd Grisham were official commentators for this wrestling edition. This Smackdown edition is first event after WrestleMania 26 and builds story for Extreme Rules 2010 pay per view.
Tony Chimel introduced WWE World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho to this Friday night Smackdown. However, wrestling fans did not give much importance to Chris Jericho’s presence. Chris Jericho said that I am still the World heavyweight champion and best in the world for what I do. He talked about his wrestling match against Edge at WrestleMania XXVI. He considered that match as perfect match in his wrestling career. He proved as greatest champion of his generation. He talked about his destruction to damage Edge at grandest stage and beat Edge. He said thanks to wrestling 
fans.
However, Wrestling fans insult WWE World Heavyweight Champion. After his WrestleMania match, he talked Edge’s spear towards security wall from announce table. He considered himself as victim of Rated R Superstar. He was bleeding but wrestling fans were supported Edge by chanting his name though Edge insures him very seriously with frustration. World Heavyweight Champion considered Edge and People as same because they take cheap tricks and shortcuts. He stated people and edge as losers especially edge is the loser but he praised himself as honest man. That’s why he still has World heavyweight title.
In few moments, the 2010 Royal Rumble winner music hits and wrestling fans raised their voice to support Edge. Edge says; Chris Jericho may right but all people would like to watch spearing champion. Similarly, people like to watch Edge to spear Chris Jericho again tonight. Edge claimed a rematch in this wrestling event for World title. Chris Jericho smiled. Even people also would like to see their match one more time. Chris Jericho says edge has actually lost his match at WrestleMania. So, Edge is not eligible for this title because edge was the loser. Chris Jericho has given a final warning to edge to get out from his ring.
Edge attacked WWE World Heavyweight Champion and took off his clothes. The Rated R Superstar surprised WWE World heavyweight Champion with powerful spear. Edge walks on ramp by seeing Chris Jericho. Suddenly, 2010 Mr. Money in the bank Jack Swagger attacked Edge from behind with Money in the Bank briefcase and entered into wrestling ring. Jack Swagger called match referee because he would like to cash his Money in the bank. The senior match referee has come.

JTG understood situation and tried to check the health condition of this tag team partner. Later, they argued each other. Shad Gaspard blamed JTG and JTG seriously considered. However, JTG received a boot shot from his own tag team partner Shad Gaspard. This could be the death of Cryme Tyme. Shad Gaspard completely out of control and attacked JTG very seriously. WWE’s employees checked the health condition of JTG.
At backstage, new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger walks and found Slam Master J, Tony Atlas and Mickie James were in serious discussion. He later found Shelton Benjamin and said I am the gold standard now.
Josh Mathews interviewed Shad Gaspard about his actions. Shad Gaspard does not want to maintain relationship with JTG no more time and does not do any further crimes. Shad Gaspard says this is my time. Josh Mathews understood his aggressiveness and left that place.

Vickie Guerrero talked about WrestleMania with Layla and Michelle McCool. She was so excited by remembering every moment of WrestleMania. She was confused about his finishing move. As per her knowledge, people consider every move as frog splash but Layla and Michelle McCool did not like that name. However, Michelle McCool suggested one name. Vickie Guerrero felt very happy.
In few moments, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger came and received good response from them. Actually, Jack Swagger searches for Teddy Long. Vickie Guerrero introduced as official consultant of Smackdown to new world champion. Vickie Guerrero requested him to help. Jack Swagger explained his greatness to them and congratulated by the official consultant of Smackdown. Vickie Guerrero was ready to offer any service to Jack Swagger. The Champion really impressed and presented a kiss to Vickie Guerrero. Vickie Guerrero felt very happy. Even Layla and WWE Women’s champion Michelle McCool appreciated her.

The Great Khali completely discouraged and Ranjin Singh understood his situation and also tried explain reasons of his failure. The Great Khali says something to wrestling fans in Hindi language and requested his brother Ranjin Singh to translate in English. As per the Ranjin Singh’s translation, the great khali would like to regain his strength by going to India and also would like to spend time with his family members. However, the great khali assured wrestling fans to return to WWE to become world champion again.
CM Punk music hits. The straight edge society members CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Serena came. Luke Gallows requested people to open their ears to listen what CM Punk is going to tell. Luke Gallows was saved by the CM Punk, also given assurance to wrestling fans to save them. Wrestling fans did not give much importance to his words. Luke Gallows actually accepted CM Punk as his savior. He requested people to chance their attitude and said that it is the right time for change. Later, CM Punk took microphone from Luke Gallows.
Initially, wrestling fans pay attention but some people were insulted. Later, Serena took microphone from the straightedge savior to give a message to WWE Universe. Serena ordered people to show respect on CM Punk. After that Wrestling fans starts insulting CM Punk loudly. Serena praised; CM Punk is the perfect man everywhere. He is remarkable and heeler. She encouraged people to look into his beautiful eyes. CM Punk can save everyone just like Serena and Luke Gallows. If they did not work with CM Punk, obviously they become just like people.
CM Punk appreciated her and would like to say something to wrestling world. Actually, he would like to save Las Vegas people with his ways. Similarly, he blamed wrestling fans who are actually sitting in front of televisions. Las Vegas people take Alcohol 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Wrestling fans can smoke without any objection in public places. CM Punk indirectly blamed wrestling fans by talking about their bad habits. CM Punk considered Las Vegas people are liers just like Rey Mysterio. People need CM Punk.
He considered Rey Mysterio as his shining light. CM Punk would like to claim a rematch against Rey Mysterio. The straight edge savior surprised entire wrestling world by announcing one major announcement, which means CM Punk is ready to sacrifice his hair if he loses to Rey Mysterio. Luke Gallows took off his cap to show his shining head. Actually, he is putting his hair on the line to save Rey Mysterio.

WWE Smackdown General Manager enjoyed the divas action by seeing this match on a television in his office. In few moments, Chris Jericho came. He was in aggressive mood. Chris Jericho demanded Teddy Long to give him back his title. Theodore Long does not want to do that but asked Chris Jericho about his rematch. Chris Jericho did not want to face Jack Swagger in this wrestling edition because of his physical inability. Chris Jericho understood situation and then left that place but gave a warning to Smackdown general manager.
Josh Mathews invited The Hart Dynasty for an interview. Natalya considered they got best opportunity. David Hart Smith was so excited to support Bret Hart at WrestleMania. He also talked about Stu hart’s WWE Hall of Fame celebration. Tyson Kidd says now the match is over but now this is their time. They would like to share their happiness with heart family. Suddenly, new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger came and stood in front of the hart dynasty to show his title belt to wrestling world.
The Big Red Machine Kane music hits and attended to this wrestling edition to say something to wrestling world. Actually, Kane is getting bore because his in frustration. The frustrated monster is not good for anyone. The big red monster wants someone to take his frustration. Kane would like to face all NXT Rookies. As per Kane’s interest, the below WWE NXT Rookies were attended to this Friday night Smackdown edition.

Tony Chimel introduced the new WWE World heavyweight champion Jack Swagger to this wrestling event. Jack Swagger prepared few statements for wrestling world. He congratulated wrestling world to be part of this Smackdown. Actually, every wrestling fan who wants his match against Chris Jericho considered as valuable people. He would like to be champion for extremely long time. He ordered to people to keep silence until he finishes his speech. He spoke out his career achievements for wrestling fans.
He became ECW Champion within four months of his joining. Similarly, he won Money in the bank at WrestleMania. He has the ability to face even more than hundred people. He considered himself as best replacement of Shawn Michaels. Wrestling fans did not give much response to his speech. Suddenly, Chris Jericho music hits and received amazing response from wrestling fans surprisingly.
Chris Jericho ordered Jack Swagger to surrender his title back. Jack Swagger cleared that it’s his property now. Chris Jericho also cleared that I am the champion not you. As per the Y2J’s statement, he did a biggest crime in WWE history. Actually, Jack Swagger stole his title as per his statement. Chris Jericho tried to intimidate him but Jack Swagger did not. Chris Jericho blamed even innocent people by behaving as crazy person.
In few moments, the Rated R Superstar music hits. He also received amazing response for his presence. The new WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger left that ring. Edge requested Jack Swagger to face him for world title if he wants to show his greatness to world. Edge also cashed his Money in the Bank previously. Similarly, he also encouraged champion not to face injured one by showing Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho seriously considered and said you don’t have right to claim his title because he already beat Edge at WrestleMania.
Edge also seriously considered his involvement. Actually, due to Edge’s spear Chris Jericho lost his title to Jack Swagger at the starting of this wrestling event. Edge ordered Chris Jericho to close his mouse for few moments.
WWE Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long understood the situation and came. Teddy Long actually offered a rematch for Chris Jericho but he does not want to take it at this moment. Theodore Long has one idea, which means Chris Jericho has to face Edge to determine the new #1 contender of Jack Swagger’s title. Edge received a code breaker from Chris Jericho but Chris Jericho destroyed by the Jack Swagger with one more power bomb. WWE World Heavyweight Champion also destroyed Edge with another power bomb.
