WWE Smackdown – August 14, 2009
World Wrestling Entertainment presents Smackdown weekly wrestling edition at Edmonton Alberta, Canada on August 14, 2009 for WWE Wrestling fans. Jim Ross and Todd Grisham are official commentators for this wrestling event. Tony Chimel is official ring announcer for this wrestling event.
Tony Chimel introduced #1 cotender of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship CM Punk to this wrestling edition. In few moments, CM Punk music hits and appeared in this wrestling edition. CM Punk entered into wrestling ring and took microphone. CM Punk said, Teddy Long said at SummerSlam Tables, Ladders and Chairs match which is a Jeff Hardy’s specialty. Well, it won’t be the first time if teddy is wrong. CM Punk said, nobody is better than me if it comes for ladders. Because, CM Punk is two time Mr. Money In The Bank in ladder’s match. This year, CM Punk became Mr. Money In The Bank at WrestleMania XXV. CM Punk said, you can see last week destruction if you consider Chairs. I damage which is done by the Steel Chairs. CM Punk once again remembered wrestling fans, Both times he came out victories when he entered into Mr. Money In The Bank ladders matches. CM Punk does not wish to tell difference between right and wrong to wrestling fans.
CM Punk considered wrestling fans as slaves of Jeff Hardy. CM Punk also said, he can do anything. Once again, CM punk encouraged wrestling fans to quit Alcohol and drugs. CM Punk said, he and Jeff Hardy one on one without outside enforcers in Tables Ladders and Chairs match for WWE World Heavyweight Championship. According to the CM Punk’s statement, Jeff Hardy may not appear at SummerSlam 2009 mainly due to his destruction. In few moments, WWE Smackdown brand General Manager Theodore Long appeared in this wrestling edition. Theodore Long entered into wrestling ring with a microphone. Theodore Long said to CM Punk, CM Punk what you did last week is horrible. Theodore Long asked a question to CM Punk, Do you realize that you end Jeff Hardy’s career? Theodore Long announced one more thing, Jeff hardy is already here tonight. Wrestling fans raised their voice to encourage Jeff hardy.
Theodore Long said, CM punk stated Jeff Hardy is not perfect to face him at SummerSlam but his statement is wrong because Jeff Hardy is ready to face CM Punk at SummerSlam. Theodore Long said, CM Punk has to defeat John Morrison here on Smackdown. CM punk responded, tonight he is going to beat John Morrison at the same time he will beat Jeff hardy at SummerSlam and i am going to your hero. In few moments, WWE World heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy music hits. Wrestling fans gave amazing response to his presence. Jeff Hardy is physically not perfect and he walks slowly and very carefully. Jeff Hardy took microphone and entered into wrestling ring. Wrestling fans chanted Jeff hardy’s name. Jeff Hardy said, I am hurt but here in your face. Jeff Hardy also said, nothing will stop him and I will enjoy the pain and also defend his title against CM Punk. Jeff Hardy lifted his title over his head and Jeff hardy carefully stepped out from wrestling ring. CM Punk laughed by seeing his physical condition.
WWE Smackdown brand commentators Jim Ross and Todd Grisham talked about the big red machine Kane who intimidated and injured Ranjin Singh in last week wrestling edition. Kane dragged Ranjin Singh to backstage. According to the Jim Ross’s statement, Kane brought Ranjin Singh in this wrestling edition but we don’t know exact place in this arena.
At backstage in Smackdown’s general manager room, Theodore Long reads some papers and received a phone call from Chairman of the World Wrestling Entertainment Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon said something to Theodore Long. Theodore Long replied Vince McMahon, Jeff hardy can not face anyone due to his health condition. Vince McMahon forced him to arrange a match. Theodore Long finally arranged a two on one handicap match between The Hart Dynasty and WWE World heavyweight Champion Jeff hardy.

After this wrestling match, Mike Knox destroyed Finlay within wrestling ring with hand shots and cross body. Mike Knox threw Finlay to outside of the wrestling ring. Mike Knox set steel steps and destroyed Finlay with sidebar slam on steel steps. Mike Knox gave a warning and returned to backstage with smiley face.
Finally, Kane showed official manager of The Great Khali in a Camera. Kane kidnapped Ranjin Singh without a reason last week. Kane forced Ranjin Singh to tell something. Ranjin Singh said, my name is Ranjin Singh and I have been punishing due to his association with Great Khali. Kane tried to tell actual facts but Kane injured him. The Big Red Machine Kane appeared on screen. Kane wants to stay away from The Great Khali. Kane wants to see The Great Khali. In this mean time, Kane wants to take care about Ranjin Singh.
World Wrestling Entertainment showed their latest achievement for wrestling fans.

World Wrestling Entertainment played a promo over R-Truth for wrestling fans. Maria talked about her romantic life with Melina. Suddenly, Layla appeared in front of them. Layla is excited, two best friends share their love stories. Layla said to Melina, Michelle McCool comes back next week. Melina felt very happy. Melina said to Layla to send a message to Michelle McCool. She is going to give her in wrestling ring. Layla became angry and left from that room. Melina and Maria laughed.

The big red machine appeared on screen with Ranjin Singh. Kane encouraged Ranjin Singh to tell about his condition. Kane asked why is Khali searching for you ? Later, Kane kicked Ranjin Singh and Ranjin Singh fell back. Kane insulted The Great Khali but Ranjin Singh gave a proper reply to Kane. Ranjin Singh said, Great Khali is his brother. Kane said to Ranjin Singh, are you jealous?. Kane said, he knew everything but he wants Great Khali.

After this wrestling match, Kane’s evil room is showed. The Great Khali finally found his brother Ranjin Singh. In that room, Kane hung Ranjin Singh with the help of a rope. However, The Great Khali saved him. However, the big red machine Kane attacked The Great Khali with a steel rod. Kane destroyed him with that steel rod. Kane said to Great Khali, I never afraid of you but now Great Khali should afraid of me.
World Wrestling Entertainment once again showed their latest achievement for wrestling fans.

After this match, #1 contender of WWE World Heavyweight Championship CM Punk came for further destruction. CM punk entered into wrestling ring and completely concentrated on neck area of Jeff Hardy with elbow shots. However, John Morrison came and kicked CM Punk. Similarly, Jeff hardy also injured The Hart Dynasty members Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith. In few moments, CM punk took a steel chair. CM Punk injured back of the John Morrison with steel chair shot. CM Punk once again concentrated on Jeff hardy to damage Jeff Hardy’s neck with steel chair just like last week Smackdown edition. CM Punk set neck of the Jeff Hardy between steel chair and ready to injure his neck. Suddenly, Jeff hardy’s brother Matt Hardy appeared and attacked CM Punk from behind. Matt Hardy continuously give hand shots to CM punk.
Matt Hardy and John Morrison once again attacked Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith respectively. John Morrison eliminated David Hart Smith and jumped over David Hart Smith. Matt Hardy also eliminated Tyson Kidd. Matt Hardy looked at his brother Jeff Hardy. Matt Hardy lifted his brother and appreciated. Once again, Hardy Boyz comes back. John Morrison also joined them to share their happiness. WWE Smackdown brand General Manager Theodore Long watched this memorable moment and felt very happy by watching in a Television. Suddenly, Chairman of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Vince McMahon appeared behind Theodore Long and Theodore Long surprised. Theodore Long understood Vince McMahon’s actual plan and announced a six man tag team match between CM Punk, Hart Dynasty, John Morrison and Hardy Boyz in next week Smackdown edition.
