World Wrestling Entertainment presented WWE Smackdown edition at Portland on February 20, 2009. Tazz and Jim Ross were official commentators for this wrestling edition. Justin Roberts was an official ring announcer for this wrestling edition. This is first Smackdown edition after No Way Out 2009 Pay Per View. Similarly, this Smackdown builds route to WrestleMania XXV.

WWE Smackdown ring announcer Justin Roberts introduced WWE World Heavyweight champion Edge to this Smackdown edition. Wrestling fans did not give importance to Edge’s presence. I know, every wrestling fan wants to see me without WWE Championship and tried to insulted me in this wrestling edition but nobody can estimate me. Edge said, i seized it when i see an opportunity. Similarly, i am not afraid to take a chance. That is why, i destroyed Kofi Kingston to join in Raw elimination chamber match. He showed his WWE World Heavyweight Championship title belt to wrestling fans.
Edge is the only one person who participated in two elimination chamber matches. In other words, Edge participated in Smackdown elimination chamber match and then Raw elimination chamber match at No Way out 2009. Edge praised himself as 8 time World Heavyweight Champion. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge raised his belt over his head and returns to backstage but Jeff Hardy music hits. Jeff hardy said to Edge, Edge you did it man. Wrestling fans chanted hardy’s name. Jeff hardy remembered, you walked to No Way Out as a champion and you walked out as a champion. Jeff hardy stated Edge as ultimate opportunist but insulted general manager.
Edge seriously considered Jeff hardy’s interruption just like John Cena did on Raw this week. As per Edge, John Cena insulted me and you are also trying to trap me. Jeff Hardy said, not at lot man but i am here to challenge you for WWE World Heavyweight Championship tonight. Wrestling fans felt very happy and supported Jeff hardy. Edge remembered that Jeff hardy lost on Sunday. So, Jeff hardy does not have to right to claim a match. Jeff Hardy also remembered Edge, you are not WWE Champion because i pinned you in three minutes. Edge does not wish to face Jeff hardy for his title. Jeff hardy insulted WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge and his wife Vickie Guerrero. Edge seriously considered and tried to attack Jeff hardy but received a twist of fate from Jeff Hardy.
WWE Smackdown commentators Tazz and Jim Ross talked about unsanctioned match between Randy Orton and Shane McMahon. World Wrestling Entertainment showed WWE Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero and someone knocks door but he is Kizarny. Kizarny says something but Vickie Guerrero couldn’t understand what he is saying. In few moments her husband WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge ordered Kizarny to leave that room. Edge emotionally reported to his wife regarding Jeff hardy’s attitude. Edge wants to face Jeff hardy in this wrestling event. However, Vickie Guerrero did not wish to conduct a match and Edge understood and said sorry to Vickie Guerrero.

WWE Smackdown ring announcer Justin Roberts introduced Vickie Guerrero to this wrestling edition. WWE Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero attended this edition. Wrestling fans did not support Vickie Guerrero. Vickie Guerrero talked about JBL and Shawn Michaels’s challenge. John Bradshaw Layfield and Shawn Michaels are also ready to break The Undertaker’s 16-0 undefeated WrestleMania strike. Vickie Guerrero did not wish to give chance to either JBL or Shawn Michaels because The Undertaker belongs to Smackdown brand. Vickie Guerrero selected Vladimir Kozlov as The Undertaker’s opponent who is going to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXV.
Vladimir Kozlov is also undefeated wrestling superstar. Vickie Guerrero announced a wrestling match between Vladimir Kozlov and The Undertaker in next week Smackdown edition before WrestleMania. Vickie Guerrero is so confident about Vladimir Kozlov. Vladimir Kozlov said something to Shawn Michaels and JBL. As per experission, he is going to face WrestleMania in next week as well as WrestleMania.
