World Wrestling Entertainment conducted WWE Smackdown weekly wrestling edition on January 22, 2010 to entertain wrestling fans. This weekly wrestling edition builds story to traditional weekly wrestling pay per view Royal Rumble 2010.

Match : 1

Finlay Vs Batista

Batista lost his match to Finlay. Later, Animal seriously injured Finlay with powerful spear and throwing him over security wall. He further damaged his back with steel pole. He also used steel steps to injure him. Animal threw Finlay into ring and then gave powerful spine buster. Finlay could not control his pain due to animal’s uncontrollable attitude.

Actually, Batista was very frustrated and talked about Royal Rumble match. He would actually want to face Undertaker by winning the Royal Rumble. He does not want to give chance to anyone including heart break kid Shawn Michaels, Triple H and John Cena. By winning the Royal Rumble, Animal decided to win his title again by facing Undertaker at WrestleMania. Batista also decided to end Undertaker’s undefeated strike. Animal Batista somewhat satisfied with his destruction by imaging the Royal Rumble.

Serena joins in Straight Edge Society

The straight edge society founder CM Punk and first ever member Luke Gallows were introduced by the Smackdown brand’s official ring announcer Tony Chimel. CM Punk talked about his success secret. In other words, CM Punk and Luke Gallows won the fatal four way #1 contender’s unified tag team championship match last week. He said that they are best superstars who have the right to collect Unified tag team championship from Shawn Michaels and Triple H.

He stated that right here next week we become new Unified tag team champions. He told their secret, which means they are straightedge. Similarly, he would like to win the Royal Rumble to become first ever straightedge royal rumble winner. If people build straightedge attitude, they obviously become winners but he considered WWE Universe as losers.

CM Punk once again starts insulting people who are addicted to Smoking, taking drugs and alcohol. Similarly, he also talked about parents attitude, which means some people are used to smoke or drink in front of their kids. They obviously create next generation smokers and drinkers as per his statement. Later, wrestling world seriously reacted and starts insulting CM Punk and straightedge society. He once again considered he is better than entire WWE Universe.

CM Punk would like to save each and everyone wrestling fan if they support him. Just like previous two weeks, he would like to save one more wrestling fan from bad habits. Someone came from wrestling fans and tried to attack CM Punk. Luke Gallows protected him and ordered security to arrest her. CM Punk stopped security to know about her. CM Punk stated that this young lady needs me. Luke Gallows helped that person to enter into ring.

That lady was unable to control herself and really needed straightedge founder’s help. CM Punk understood her feelings and decided to help her. CM Punk asked her name and she introduced to wrestling world as Serena. He would like to know inner feelings. She agreed and decided to changer her life style. He promised her to take care about her. Serena would like to join in straightedge society. CM Punk and Luke Gallows requested her to sit on a steel chair.

Serena invited straightedge into her life and agreed CM Punk as her savior. Later, CM Punk cleaned head of Serena with shaving machine with the help of Luke Gallows to officially invite Serene into straightedge society. CM Punk and Luke Gallows felt very happy and felt proud by seeing one more person in straightedge society. CM punk kissed on her head to express his responsibility on his members.

WWE Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long came to tell something. Theodore Long stated that Vickie Guerrero is an official consultant of Smackdown but she does not consult him to make this handicap match. So, Theodore Long decided to turn this handicap match into a tag team match. Theodore Long included R Truth as John Morrison’s partner.
