World Wrestling Entertainment presented Smackdown weekly edition on July 17, 2009 at Miami, Florida. Jim Ross and Todd Grisham are official commentators. Justin Roberts is an official ring announcer for this wrestling event.
Jeff Hardy music hits and wrestling fans gave amazing response to his presence. Jeff Hardy took microphone and played last week CM Punk’s statement. According to the CM Punk’s open statement, Jeff Hardy has zero chance to beat him at Night of Champions 2009. Jeff Hardy said, everybody makes mistakes. He made mistakes that is why he suspended twice. At night of champions, he will beat CM punk. In few moments, WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk music hits. CM Punk took microphone and entered into wrestling ring. CM punk said, Jeff had failed in a year and wrestling fans insulted CM Punk. CM punk talked about Jeff Hardy’s schooling and focused on his failures in order to insult him.
Jeff Hardy simply said one thing, he is the next world heavyweight champion without fail. CM punk smiled and said, he is the dreamer. CM punk said that he does not drink and even his tongue did not touch Alcohol. Similarly, he does not smoke at any time. CM punk said that he is the still champion and asked a question what about you jeff ? CM punk completely focused on Jeff Hardy’s failures and insulted him seriously. Jeff Hardy said that sorry i am not perfect like you. CM Punk said that Jeff Hardy should be perfect because every wrestling superstar in this arena wears Jeff Hardy’s T-Shirt. Millions of wrestling fans like Jeff Hardy. So, Jeff Hardy should be perfect. Jeff Hardy seriously considered his irritating conversation and attacked him.
Jeff Hardy kicked CM Punk to outside of the wrestling ring. CM punk at outside said that he has the match next. CM Punk sat in a chair at outside of the security wall. Wrestling fans encouraged and supported Jeff Hardy by chanting his name. World Wrestling Entertainment said a preview of CM Punk Vs John Morrison wrestling match. After that match, CM Punk gave a Go to Sleep to John Morrison.

World Wrestling Entertainment showed a preview of Miami City. Similarly, World Wrestling Entertainment once again announced a tag team match between Jeff Hardy, WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio, WWE Unified Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho and Dolph ziggler. Similarly, WWE announced a special interview with WWE wrestling superstar who seriously injured with career ending injury i.e Rated R Superstar Edge.
WWE diva Layla music hits and Justin Roberts introduced Layla to wrestling ring. In few moments, Layla appeared in this wrestling event with a microphone. Layla interacted with Miami because Miami is her home town. Wrestling fans appreciated and feel proud. Layla entertained wrestling fans with her lovely dance. Suddenly, Ricky Ortiz music hits and Layla was shocked. Ricky Ortiz threw T-shirts into crowd. Ricky Ortiz also brought a microphone and entered into wrestling ring. Ricky Ortiz said, these people need your dance? but these people need inspiration and motivation.
Ricky Ortiz said, your dance may not help you but your boy Ricky Ortiz can help you. Ricky Ortiz gave a cloth but Layla simply returned to backstage with frustration and Ricky Ortiz is hurt. World Wrestling Entertainment showed a preview of Cryme Tyme Word Up. In few moments, JTG and Shad Gaspard appeared in front of Camera. Cryme Tyme talked with Eve Torres to invent a new word.

JTG, Shad Gaspard and Eve Torres meet Antrel Rolle at backstage. Antrel Rolle interacted with three of them. They talked about WrestleMania 26 in Arizona but Jesse interrupted them, Cryme Tyme and Anton Rolle throws him in trolley. World Wrestling entertainment announced a wrestling match between R-Truth and the big red machine Kane. Similarly, WWE announced their latest achievement for wrestling fans.

Match : 2
After this match, the big red machine was shocked by seeing the great khali in this wrestling event. The Great Khali appeared in this event with his official manager Ranjin Singh. Kane received a high drop kick by the R-Truth. The great khali tried to catch Kane but Kane simply went to outside of the wrestling ring with intimidation. Kane escaped through Crowd. World Wrestling Entertainment once again announced a tag team match between Jeff Hardy, WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio, WWE Unified Tag team champion Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler.
WWE Smackdown brand commentators Jim Ross and Todd Grisham announced ZZ Top guest host show in next week monday night Raw edition.
Match : 3
After this wrestling match, WWE Camera showed the preparation of Dolph Ziggler. In few moments, WWE Diva Maria came and observed his preparation. Dolph Ziggler told her, he has a match and ready to go for his match. Maria stopped him and Dolph Ziggler showed his physical strength to Maria and Maria kissed. World Wrestling Entertainment once again announced a tag team match between Chris Jericho, Dolph Ziggler, Rey Mysterio and Jeff Hardy. Similarly, WWE also announced Edge’s special interview. World Wrestling Entertainment showed once again announcement for wrestling fans.

Jim Ross and Todd Grisham appeared on screen and introduced Rated R Superstar Edge. Rated R Superstar appeared on screen for wrestling fans. Edge said, thanks JR and he shared his career achievements with wrestling fans. Edge said, he is the 9 time World Heavyweight Champion. Edge is not happy because this seriously injury could end his career as per his statement. Wrestling fans are also not happy with Edge’s sad statement. However, Edge tried to come back to WWE to become WWE Champion but he is not sure due to his physical condition. Todd Grisham asked Edge about his tag team partner Chris Jericho’s response. Edge tried to express his feelings but Chris Jericho music hits and interrupted conversation.
Chris Jericho entered into wrestling ring and took microphone. Chris Jericho looked at Edge. Chris Jericho said, he no longer wants to listen Edge’s stories. Chris Jericho also said, Edge wants sympathy but he does not give it to edge because edge does not care about WWE Unified tag team championship and even chris jericho. As per Chris Jericho statement, edge is punished due to his selfish actions. However, he is going to choose a better partner who is better than Edge at Night of Champions to continue his domination as a tag team champion. Chris Jericho said, edge talked all his previous achievements but he also earn more achievements than edge with courage and skills.
Chris Jericho completely focused on Edge’s failures and injuries. Chris Jericho said, he never injured and failed because he is too stronger. Edge interrupted his conversation. Definitely he comes back and proves again as a best wrestling superstar forever in WWE.
