WWE Smackdown – July 24, 2009
World Wrestling Entertainment conducted WWE Smackdown weekly edition at Richmond, Virginia on July 24, 2009 for Smackdown wrestling fans. Jim Ross and Todd Grisham are official commentators for this Smackdown edition. Justin Roberts is an official ring announcer.
At the starting of this wrestling match, World Wrestling Entertainment played last week (WWE Smackdown on July 17, 2009) tag team match preview between Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Dolph Ziggler and WWE Unified Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho.
Jeff Hardy music hits and Jeff hardy appeared in this wrestling event and wrestling fans gave excellent response for his presence. WWE Smackdown ring announcer Justin Roberts introduced Jeff Hardy to this wrestling event. Jeff hardy took microphone and said wow. Jeff Hardy felt very happy by listening wrestling fans’ chanting. Jeff hardy interacted with Richmond wrestling fans. Jeff Hardy rewinds last week incident means Jeff Hardy was destroyed by the Chris Jericho due to CM Punk’s indirect help. Jeff Hardy said that after Night of Champions 2009 he is going to give an end by becoming new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Jeff Hardy said, Chris Jericho is the opponent of this wrestling event. As per Jeff hardy statement, Chris Jericho is worrying about his tag partner but he should worry about him because Chris Jericho destroyed him in last week Smackdown edition. Jeff hardy did not forget it.

After this wrestling match, WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool talks with her makeup woman at backstage. Michelle McCool praised herself by comparing with greatest woman wrestling superstars Fabulous Moolah, Sensational Sherri, Lita, Trish Stratus and then she is the greatest of all time. In few moments, Melina appeared in front of WWE Women’s champion Michelle McCool. Melina congratuated Michelle McCool for her successful achievements. Melina said, she will be the next WWE Women’s Champion at night of champions 2009. Melina damaged her face with makeup power. Michelle McCool simply returned to her dressing room silently.
Todd Grisham announced Champion Vs Champion match between WWE World heavyweight champion CM Punk and WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio. World Wrestling Entertainment announced their latest achievement for wrestling fans.

After this wrestling match, WWE Smackdown commentator Todd Grisham announced a program “CM Punk challenges The WWE Universe”.
It is the time for Cryme Tyme Word Up. Cryme Tyme members JTG and Shad Gaspard appeared on Screen. Cryme Tyme talked about 630S of the tag team division. In few moments, Eve Torres is given a new meaning of Goat.

The Hart Dynasty team members David Hart Smith, Natalya and Tyson Kidd appeared in their show. They argued about tag team. In few moments, Jesse interfered in their conversation. Jesse said, he came from Bad street. Natalya gave a warning to Cryme Tyme.
Dolph Ziggler appeared in this wrestling event with his girl friend Maria. Justin Roberts introduced Dolph Ziggler to this wrestling event. Maria brings a microphone to Dolph Ziggler. Dolph Ziggler took microphone to gave a message to wrestling fans. Dolph Ziggler introduced himself by interacting with wrestling fans. He said, everyone knows him as Dolph Ziggler. After Night of Champions 2009, everyone knows him as WWE Intercontinental Champion. Dolph Ziggler gave microphone to Maria.

At backstage, the big red machine Kane met Y2J Chris Jericho and talked something. Y2J Chris Jericho felt very happy and smiled. WWE Commentators Jim Ross and Todd Grisham talked about CM Punk’s challenge for WWE Universe. WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk music hits and appeared in this wrestling event. Justin Roberts introduced CM Punk to this wrestling event. CM Punk entered into wrestling ring and took microphone. CM Punk said, he actually came to this event to challenge WWE Universe.
CM Punk said, wrestling fans walk into darkness side by becoming fans of Jeff Hardy and even wrestling fans do not know what they are doing. It is really hard and extremely difficult to be CM Punk. None of the wrestling fans do not know how to live more difficult in real life but wrestling fans live. CM Punk talked about Alcohol. CM punk said, wrestling fans drink because its fun. CM Punk said, it is not a good idea to drink Alcohol for fun. CM Punk also raised a topic regarding Smoking. According to CM Punk statement, a smoker pollutes environment with 4,000 dangerous chemicals.
Smokers have to convince themselves in order to save their lives. CM Punk said, it is not easy to quit smoking but wrestling fans have to try to quit Smoking. Similarly, even stronger person who smokes never get first place. Wrestling fans started chanting his name. CM punk tried to motivate wrestling fans to quit smoking as well as drinking. CM Punk said, he actually came to challenge wrestling fans to quit smoking and drinking in their real lives. It is too late so that everyone has to learn how to control temptation to save lives from Smoking and drinking.
CM Punk encouraged wrestling fans to learn how to save their children and kids. In few moments, Jeff Hardy music hits and appeared in this wrestling event. CM punk frustrated by listening Jeff Hardy’s music. Jeff hardy took microphone and entered into wrestling ring. Wrestling fans chanted his name. Jeff Hardy said, people make mistakes but they chance. Suddenly, CM punk interrupted Jeff Hardy. CM punk said we have to say then only people can change. CM Punk does not want to stand in front of Jeff Hardy. CM Punk simply returned to backstage.
World Wrestling Entertainment played a preview of triple threat match between Triple H, John Cena and WWE Champion John Cena for WWE Championship at Night of Champions 2009.

WWE Camera showed The Great Khali with Ranjin Singh. Suddenly, WWE Unified Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho appeared in front of them. Chris Jericho wants to talk Great Khali face to face. Chris Jericho requested The Great Khali to be one half of WWE Unified Tag Team Champion at Night of Champions. Ranjin Singh translated his proposal but Great Khali rejected his proposal. Chris Jericho felt not happy with Great Khali’s answer.
