World Wrestling Entertainment presents WWE Smackdown weekly wrestling edition on May 15, 2009. Jim Ross and Todd Grisham were official commentators. Justin Roberts was official ring announcer for this wrestling edition.

Chris Jericho appeared in this Smackdown edition and talked about Judgment Day 2009. Chris Jericho emotionally shared his opinion. As per Chris Jericho, he is disrespected on weekly basis. Chris Jericho also insulted Smackdown fans just like Raw wrestling fans. Every Smackdown locker room superstar works against Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho decided to teach a lesson to each and every Smackdown superstar. Chris Jericho decided to rule Smackdown brand because Smackdown is his show as per Chris Jericho’s statement.
Chris Jericho talked about Rey Mysterio and insulted Rey Mysterio by stating him as piece of trash. Rey Mysterio took World Heavyweight Championship opportunity away from Chris Jericho. So, Chris Jericho decided to take away one important thing from Rey Mysterio. Chris Jericho guaranteed 9 time Intercontinental Championship. Chris Jericho does not wish to give chance to Rey Mysterio for 619 at Judgment Day. However, wrestling fans will see new Intercontinental Champion. Chris Jericho did not want to wait for Judgment Day 2009 and he is interested to face in this Smackdown edition.
Chris Jericho called Rey Mysterio but WWE World heavyweight Champion Edge. Edge was sick before of Chris Jericho’s voice. Edge insulted Chris jericho because Chris Jericho said, i am the face of Smackdown and Smackdown is my show. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge said, Smackdown is always my show. Edge said to Chris Jericho, you are nine time Intercontinental Champion if you win this sunday but i am nine world champion. Edge did not wish to give chance to Chris Jericho to call his opponent Rey Mysterio but he is interested to call his opponent Jeff Hardy. Edge called Jeff hardy but Chris Jericho interrupted Edge.
Actually, Chris Jericho wants answer from Mr. 619. Both superstars argued each other just like kids. In few moments, WWE Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long music hits. Theodore Long clarified their doubt by telling this is neither one of their show. Theodore Long said, this show belongs to WWE Universe. Theodore Long understood their inner feelings and announced a match between Chris Jericho and WWE World heavyweight champion Edge. Chris Jericho and WWE World heavyweight champion Edge shocked and looked at each other.
World Wrestling Entertainment showed Jeff hardy at backstage.

At backstage, World Wrestling Entertainment showed Cryme Tyme mebers JTG and Shad Gaspard with Eve Torres. Cryme Tyme and Eve Torres talked something. Later, Eve Torres damaged make up of Layla and slapped layla. Eve Torres and Layla injured each other. However, JTG and Shad Gaspard separated them.
Josh Mathews invited WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio as his guest. Josh Mathews asked Rey Mysterio about Chris jericho’s statement. As we already know, Chris Jericho stated that there is no 619 at Judgment Day 2009. Chris Jericho said something in Spanish. Rey Mysterio promised wrestling fans, there will be 619 at Judgment Day 2009. So, Chris Jericho has to worry about 619 as per Rey Mysterio.

After this wrestling match, Jeff hardy attacked WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge with twist of fate. Similarly, Jeff Hardy jumped over Chris Jericho. Mr. Money In The Bank CM Punk decided to cash his money in the bank briefcase to win WWE World Heavyweight Championship but Umaga attacked CM Punk. Jeff hardy, CM Punk and Rey Mysterio fight with Edge, Umaga and Chris Jericho.
