WWE Smackdown – May 7, 2010
World Wrestling Entertainment conducted a Friday night entertaining wrestling edition Smackdown at on May 7, 2010. This wrestling edition’s story was actually built by the Extreme Rules 2010 pay per view and this Friday night wrestling main event also builds story for next brand new pay per view Over the Limit 2010. Todd Grisham and Matt Striker were official commentators for this wrestling entertaining program. Savannah was official ring announcer for this wrestling main event.
Matt Hardy attended to this Friday night wrestling main event and received amazing response from wrestling fans. Matt hardy entered into wrestling ring to say something. Actually, he was here because of Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler’s actions two weeks ago in a tag team match. Similarly, Drew McIntyre also attacked Matt hardy at backstage seriously. WWE Intercontinental Champion’s main idea is to send out Matt hardy permanently to home. Matt hardy does not want to go anywhere.
In few moments, Drew McIntyre came. Matt Hardy clarified that he is not 
going to anywhere. Drew McIntyre remembered that 9 months ago Mr. McMahon has announced Drew McIntyre is the future of WWE. The announcement makes him untouchable and uncontrollable. However, Matt Hardy would like to see how much untouchable he is. Drew McIntyre actually comes here to beat him. Matt hardy also wants that. Matt hardy and Drew McIntyre fought each other. However, Drew McIntyre further seriously injured Matt Hardy. WWE officials involved and separated them.
However, they failed to separate them. Finally, the Smackdown general manager Theodore Long involved in this match and warned Drew McIntyre to stop it but WWE Intercontinental Champion did not listen to him. Theodore Long suspended Drew McIntyre on spot. Similarly, Drew McIntyre also attacked Matt Hardy further. Theodore Long seriously reacted and took Intercontinental Champion championship title from Drew McIntyre. Drew McIntyre even did not care about it and further attacked Matt Hardy. Finally, Theodore Long fired Drew McIntyre from Smackdown. WWE security has sent Drew McIntyre from that building. Similarly, Doctors send Matt Hardy for medical treatment.
At backstage, Josh Mathews asked Theodore Long about Matt hardy’s status. Theodore Long said; doctors are positively responding about Matt hardy. Josh Mathews asked Theodore Long about Drew McIntyre’s attitude. Theodore Long said; he never seen a guy like Drew McIntyre. Josh Mathews later asked about Intercontinental title but Theodore Long does not have any idea about that. Josh Mathews would like to ask few more questions but Theodore Long did not want to spend much time with Josh Mathews.

The straight edge society founder CM Punk seriously considered and entered into wrestling ring to say something to WWE Universe. CM Punk blamed Rey Mysterio. He said; Rey Mysterio attacks people from behind. He called Rey Mysterio because he would like to say something to him. In few moments, Rey Mysterio music hits and he received amazing response from wrestling fans.
Rey Mysterio said what’s wrong with him. He actually talked about one of his followers. In other words, one of CM Punk’s followers attacked Rey Mysterio from behind. That’s why Rey Mysterio wants to enter CM Punk’s way. However, CM Punk says; he does not have any idea about mystery man, who attacked Rey Mysterio at extreme rules 2010 pay per view. CM Punk argued Rey Mysterio and even insulted his mask. Actually, people beg him to save their lives. That’s why he is actually coming to every wrestling event but wrestling fans did not agree with his words.
CM Punk still requests Rey Mysterio to join in straight edge society. Rey Mysterio said he came out here to shave his head. CM Punk wondered because he defeated Rey Mysterio at extreme rules by putting his hair on the line. Rey Mysterio remembered; he defeated CM Punk at WrestleMania XXVI. The high flying superstar does not want to end their rivalry. Rey Mysterio challenged CM Punk a match at Over the limit. If Rey Mysterio loses that match; he does not have any problem to join in Straight edge society. If CM Punk loses then CM Punk should shave his head.
Rey Mysterio had better idea. He actually does not want to wait for Over the Limit by arranging that match in this Friday night Smackdown. However, CM Punk does not want to take this challenge at this moment. Rey Mysterio appreciated CM Punk’s message “Don’t drink, Don’t Smoke, Don’t take drugs” but the messenger is bad. Rey Mysterio encouraged CM Punk to shave his head to become an example. CM Punk said; his hair represents purity. The straight edge savior argued he is better than everybody. Rey Mysterio asked why Serena and Luke Gallows are bald but he is not. He gave a warning to CM Punk that he can’t be survive from 619.

The Smackdown general manager appeared with Intercontinental title in front of Josh Mathews. Theodore Long decided to conduct Intercontinental tournament by selecting four professional wrestling superstars. He decided to conduct two intercontinental championship qualifying matches in this wrestling event. Winners of these two qualifying matches will meet in next week Smackdown edition for Intercontinental title. He announced one wrestling match between Christian and Cody Rhodes and another match between Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston.

WWE Smackdown brand ring announcer Savannah introduced WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger to this wrestling edition. WWE World Heavyweight Champion did not receive much response from wrestling fans. Jack Swagger considered himself as good guy then The Big Show. The Champion once again talked about his career accomplishments. Actually, he would like share about his good side but wrestling fans did not give much importance to him. Jack Swagger compared himself with wrestling fan achievements. Similarly, he also compared his achievements with the big show. The big red machine did not want to wait for long time and interrupted his show.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion seriously injured Kane with big boot shot and then collected his WWE World title. He later concentrated on the big show but received a boot shot from Kane. Kane decided to chock slam Jack Swagger on announce table but seriously injured by champion with steel ring pole. However, the big show chock slammed Jack Swagger on announce table. The Big Show collected title belt and gave and signaled he will be the next WWE World heavyweight Champion. WWE officials checked health condition of Jack Swagger.
