World Wrestling Entertainment presents WWE Smackdown edition on October 9, 2009 for WWE wrestling fans. Jim Ross and Todd Grisham are official commentators for this wrestling event. Tony Chimel was official ring announcer for this wrestling edition. This is first Smackdown edition after Hell In a Cell 2009 Pay Per View and builds story for next pay per view Bragging Rights 2009.
WWE ring announcer Tony Chimel introduced WWE Smackdown General manger Theodore Long to wrestling fans. Theodore Long said to wrestling fans, i think you all watched Hell In a Cell 2009 pay per view this past Sunday. Theodore Long congratulated new WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker. Theodore Long appreciated The Undertaker’s wrestling performance in Hell In a Cell match against CM Punk. Theodore Long talked about WWE’s brand new pay per view Bragging Rights.
Theodore Long talked about 60 minute iron man match between WWE Champion Randy Orton and John Cena. Theodore Long talked about match stipulation of 60 minute iron man match. However, Theodore Long welcomes John Cena to home if John Cena looses to Randy Orton at Bragging Rights 2009 pay per view. In few moments, CM Punk music hits and appeared in this Smackdown edition. Wrestling fans did not give much importance to CM Punk. CM Punk insulted a Smackdown General Manager talking about Raw wrestling superstar John Cena. CM Punk said to Theodore Long, Smackdown does not need John Cena but needs a responsible Smackdown General Manager.
CM Punk forced Theodore Long to look at him. CM Punk also forced Theodore Long to make him as new #1 contender for WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Theodore Long shocked. According to the CM Punk, these people know there is only one straightedge world heavyweight Champion in WWE history i.e CM Punk. CM Punk claimed a rematch. Similarly, CM Punk seriously considered for his match with Batista. CM Punk actually worried about his health because CM Punk faced The Undertaker in a horrible match at Hell In a Cell pay per view but arranged a match with Batista in only five days. CM Punk claimed a rematch which should be a submission match. CM Punk did not want to listen Theodore Long’s politics. Theodore Long tried to convince CM Punk but Vince McMahon music hits.
Chairman of the World Wrestling Entertainment Vince McMahon interacted with Theodore Long and CM Punk by shaking hand. Theodore Long proudly introduced the chairman of WWE Mr. McMahon to WWE Universe. Vince McMahon felt very happy. Vince McMahon actually came this Smackdown edition to support Theodore Long’s management. Vince McMahon announced a fatal four way match for Bragging Rights pay per view between CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Batista and WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker in behalf of Theodore Long. Vince McMahon introduced Rey Mysterio for his first wrestling match. Rey Mysterio said, thanks to Chairman Vince McMahon by shaking hand.

Cryme Tyme JTG and Shad Gaspard appeared on screen. In few moments, Eve Torres joined with Cryme Tyme to tell about today’s work. Cryme Tyme said, today’s work is Eve. Eve Torres felt very happy.

World Wrestling Entertainment showed Vickie Guerrero and her new boy friend Eric. In few moments, Theodore Long interrupted their romantic mood. Vickie Guerrero said to Theodore Long, Eric is new member of Smackdown roster. Vickie Guerrero blamed Theodore Long for his management. Eric said something in an unknown language. Vickie Guerrero gave a warning to Teddy Long. Vickie Guerrero and Eric left General manager room.

After this wrestling match, Dolph Ziggler’s mood was off and did not wish to talk to his girl friend Maria. Dolph Ziggler said, i don’t know about personal life but i have great life in professional life. Dolph Ziggler does not want to see Maria in his personal life. Maria cried.
World Wrestling Entertainment showed Rey Mysterio in locker room. Batista came and hugged Rey Mysterio affectionately. Rey Mysterio apologized for their failure at Hell In a Cell 2009. However, Batista did not think about it. Batista and Rey Mysterio understood each other.

After this wresting match, Tony Chimel invited new WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker to this Smackdown edition. The Undertaker received amazing response from wrestling fans. The Undertaker introduced himself as WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The Undertaker his opinion about World Champion. The Undertaker talked about Bragging Rights. The Undertaker gave a warning to all his opponent CM Punk. The Undertaker appreciated Rey Mysterio for his legendary career but The Undertaker does not wish to show mercy on Rey Mysterio. The Undertaker concentrated on Batista. Batista’s strength is enough to save his soul. The Undertaker returned to backstage.
