Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler in an Intercontinental Championship match at Night of Champions 2009 on July 26, 2009. However, Dolph Ziggler hardly hunts for WWE Intercontinental Championship match against Rey Mysterio again. WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio faced Mike Knox at WWE Superstars on August 6, 2009. Dolph Ziggler attended this wrestling match as special guest commentator. Rey Mysterio well performed excellent wrestling performance against Mike Knox but Dolph Ziggler destroyed Rey Mysterio at outside of the wrestling ring. However, match referee disqualified Mike Knox and announced Rey Mysterio as winner of this wrestling match. Later, Dolph Ziggler and Mike Knox also hardly tried to destroy Rey Mysterio after this match but Rey Mysterio escaped intelligently.
On August 7, 2009 in WWE Smackdown edition, World Wrestling Entertainment conducted a fatal four way wrestling match between Finlay, R-Truth, Mike Knox and Dolph Ziggler for #1 contender of WWE Intercontinental Championship. WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio appeared as special guest commentator just like Dolph Ziggler. Finlay, R-Truth, Mike Knox and Dolph Ziggler performed amazing wrestling performance and these four wrestling superstars hardly tried to become #1 contender of the WWE Intercontinental Championship in order to face Rey Mysterio in this wrestling pay per view. Dolph Ziggler proved as #1 contender by winning this fatal four way wrestling match but Rey Mysterio injured Dolph Ziggler by seriously considering his last night destruction. Dolph Ziggler reversed this wrestling match with Rey Mysterio in this wrestling pay per view.
After this wrestling match, WWE interviewer Josh Mathews appeared on screen and introduced SummerSlam opponents Jack Swagger and MVP. Josh Mathews said, many of wrestling fans call their wrestling match culture clash. MVP and Jack Swagger are shocked by listening Culture Clash word. Jack Swagger corrected Jack Swagger and praised himself as two time all American American with amazing ability. Jack Swagger said to Josh Mathews, this could be my first summerslam but everyone should know me as a future WWE Champion. Jack Swagger talked about MVP and praised himself as X-con.
Similarly, Jack Swagger explained meaning of X icon. Jack Swagger agreed and said, MVP may have some talent and facing MVP is a stepping stone for me. MVP talked about stepping stone and wished Jack Swagger to become future best professional wrestling superstar. MVP said, i have chosen some bad decision but not mistakes. MVP gave valuable suggestions to Jack Swagger and talked about prize. MVP learned several things from his bad decisions. MVP said, tonight the all America American goes back to school and your lesson in class room is stepping stone. Similarly, he is going to show reality of MVP. Jack Swagger returned to dressing room. Similarly, MVP also returned to his dressing room.

On July 31, 2009 WWE Smackdown edition, Cryme Tyme members JTG and Shad Gaspard faced The Hart Dynasty members David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd in a #1 Contenders tag team match. Cryme Tyme founders JTG and Shad Gaspard performed excellent tag team wrestling performance. Cryme Tyme defeated The Hart Dynasty and became new #1 contenders of WWE Unified Tag Team Championship.
After this wrestling match, Josh Matches appeared on screen and invited his guest CM Punk. Josh Mathews asked his thoughts about Tables Ladders Chairs match. CM punk said, he is really loved to talk about TLC match but showed a book to Josh Mathews. CM Punk said, it is really hard to beat me for Jeff Hardy. That book tells story of Jeff hardy in interesting manner but the ending is fake and not reality. CM punk blamed Jeff hardy by seriously considering his behavior. It is just like a spyware downloaded by the Internet users day by day. Similarly, Jeff hardy’s negligence attitude attract wrestling fans especially kids. However, tonight he is going rewrite the ending of this book. CM Punk said, there will be happy endiing. CM Punk officially announced New World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. CM Punk left that book and returned to his dressing room.

On July 27, 2009 WWE Raw edition, WWE Raw Guest Host Shaquille O’Neal selected Triple H as one of the #1 contenders of WWE Championship. Shaquille O’Neal decided to filter out one #1 cotender from five top wrestling superstars and arranged five beat the clock challenge wrestling matches. Triple faced Cody Rhodes in a Beat the Clock challenge match. However, Triple H is unable to win this beat the clock challenge wrestling match within right time mainly due to interruption of Ted DiBiase Jr. Triple H lost a golden opportunity but Legacy felt very happy. Triple H seriously considered this and decided to face Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase in a 2 on 1 handicap match at WWE Raw edition on August 3, 2009. World Wrestling Entertainment also conducted a handicap match in that wrestling edition. Triple H performed excellent wrestling performance and well handled Legacy members Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase.
However, Legacy members Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase also performed excellent wrestling performance and defeated Triple H surprisingly. Triple H is once again shocked. Triple H understood situation and said, he has to form a wrestling group against Legacy. Triple H said that i may re-found evolution but Dave Batista is out of wrestling, Ric Flair is retired and Randy Orton is WWE Champion. So, he is going to make a call to someone. He is nothing but a legendary wrestling superstar Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels but Shawn Michaels hung up the phone when Triple H requests Shawn Michaels to reform D-Generation X. As we already know, Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels lost his wrestling match to The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXV. Shawn Michaels decided to retire from professional wrestling and also decided to spend normal life. Shawn Michaels joined in a hotel as Chef. Triple H is shocked by seeing Shawn Michaels in a hotel as a Chef on August 10, 2009.
Triple H is hardly tried to convince Shawn Michaels to re-found Shawn Michaels in order to teach a lesson to Legacy members Ted DiBiase Jr. and Cody Rhodes but Shawn Michaels did not listen Triple H but Shawn Michaels faced lot of problems in that hotel. Everyone insults Shawn Michaels in that hotel. Triple H felt unhappy and inspired Shawn Michaels by telling his greatness as a Show Stopper and Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels. Finally, Shawn Michaels decided to return to World Wrestling Entertainment reform D-Generation X. On same day, Legacy members Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase also announced, they are ready to face Triple H and Shawn Michaels at SummerSlam.

On July 27, 2009 WWE Raw edition, NBA’s most dominant player Shaquille O’Neal appointed as Raw Guest Host and in charge of this weekly edition. Shaquille O’Neal announced 5 Man beat the clock match to filter one wrestling superstar out of five toughest wrestling superstars to face Randy Orton for WWE Championship. Shaquille O’Neal announced list of five members as given below.
World’s strongest man Mark Henry faced Carlito in first Beat the Clock Challenge match and defeated him through pin fall in 6 minutes 49 seconds. MVP also faced Chris Masters in second Beat the Clock Challenge match but unable to with due to double count out. The game triple is also unable to win within right time in third Beat the Clock Challenge match against Cody Rhodes mainly due to Ted DiBiase Jr interference. Evan Bourne surprised Jack Swagger by defeating Jack Swagger in fourth beat the clock challenge match. However, John Cena defeated The Miz in final beat the clock challenge and became new #1 contender of WWE Championship. Randy Orton entered into wrestling ring and raised his title belt to show his greatness to John Cena.
On August 3, 2009 WWE Raw edition, John Cena faced The Miz in a lumberjack match and this match is arranged by the WWE Raw Guest Host Jeremy Piven. Jeremy Piven does not support John Cena and listen WWE Champion Randy Orton. Randy Orton introduced his lumberjacks instead of Jeremy Piven.

John Cena shocked but wrestled The Miz alone even though most of lumberjacks seriously injured him. John Cena surprised him by defeating The Miz. John Cena well handled all lumberjacks after this wrestling match.
On August 10, 2009 WWE Raw edition, WWE Unified tag team champion Chris Jericho and Big Show interrupted conversation of Randy Orton and John Cena. Chris Jericho forced Raw Guest Host Sgt. Slaughter to make a match with John Cena. Similarly, Big Show also reserved a match with WWE Champion Randy Orton. Initially, Randy Orton faced Big Show but lost his wrestling match to Big Show by count out. However, John Cena defeated Chris Jericho by disqualification. Big Show also appeared after that wrestling match. WWE Raw Guest Host made a tag team match between these four wrestling superstars.
On August 17, 2009 WWE Raw edition, John Cena teamed up with WWE Champion Randy Orton to face WWE Unified tag team champions Chris Jericho and Big Show as per last week Raw Guest Host Sgt. Slaughter’s order.
